Turbos do not have oil “seals” matey they have piston rings on the shaft. There is no seal to “blow out”. Mechanics never use chisels to remove a sump unless replacing it, if you look around it there are rectangular faces on the block to use to gently pry the sump off.

When you shift the selector lever thru the gears to check assembly shud the forks be moving inside or they dont move as they’re electronically moved by mechatronics magnets? I had fork A and C stuck during a failed fork relearn wasn’t sure if they were actually stuck nothings broken on them. I suddenly lost movement in drive after 2 hours in 5th n 6th gear highway driving just stalled the engine out wen I came to a stop. After about 4 attempts to select drive it didn’t stall but just revved won’t move. Wud broken plastics n worn out clutch discs cause that or most likely solenoids failed I also had codes D and E solenoid stuck off that may have caused the clutch to wear out trying to move in drive. I was gonna try a new valvebody and leave the mechatronics as a last resort to change while it’s bk in the car. I had no trans overheat message only limited function. Good video by the way helped me strip n inspect the transmission properly

Do you have to connect a 12 volt supply when changing batteries? Ie if you completely disconnect the car from power does it cause problems with the radio / alarm

I just found your channel great work mate . I've got Grand C max with dodgy powershift. Transmission fault came on I switched the engine off and on and was ok for a bit, fault was coming back after 40min drive and was loosing every second gear. On forscan showed issues with solenoid. I left on driveway for a few months as I've got another car. Took it for a ran the other day and seems to be working fine 2 hours solid drive mix with motorway and no issues came back you gotta love them lol will watch your other videos in a bit.
