To my cat Lily, thank you for choosing me.
My cat Lily ran away from my neighbor several times always to my back door. After many attempts to keep her at his house he finally just brought over her toys, perch, and bed. That was 11 years ago, she and I never looked back. I will miss her more than I can say or even comprehend at this point.

My light went out and the CD player stopped working.
Renting this model tomorrow and I feel a bit more prepared, thank you!
Anyone know if it will self level on a slope. If I set it up on a sloped driveway for example, maybe 20deg grade?
Good Job
I’ve been painting for 25 years and I’ve been in 100s of reaches and every one is still a little shakey until you get used to it !
Green Mill
I was hoping the wheels were powered so you could drive it around.
No cuts no bs straight to the point. Thanks! You deserved a better cameraman btw lol.
what a crap design, chevy stopped being chevy after 1987, should have left things alone, new design, pain in the arse.
Haley Brook
Dude... great explanation of everything. Didn't miss a detail. Most how to videos are nothing like this thank you. 💪🏻
?? the rotor is not sitting at 90 degrees to hub? Should not make that noise after you spin it. Also will do that when the rotor is warped.
Y don’t they just use disc brakes
Once the lift is disconnected from tow vehicle, can it be pushed / pulled (one, two, three people?) to move around side of house to get to the back?
That was awesome 👌, I have to do some trimming myself, this video will save time on understanding operations, great 👍 video 📹 😀
Dude your a giant killer. My hats off to u. Genious
I just get my money up and let the shop boys do it !!!!!!!
That’s what most women do
Thank you
Why are you using the "please kill me" Jack? Plus if you slid the tire right underneath the car that will be as good as a jack stand the car would only drop about 3 inches.
Thanks , surely not like the Old Breaks . Dose the Springs have to be changed when putting new shoes ?????????????????????????
Good video!! Thank you
Ive been working in bucket trucks for iver 20 years, and these things still make me nervous.
Sounds like Ted Cruise 😂
Thank you so much dude!
I'm renting one of these tomorrow. Seriously, thank you for the demonstration, even 8 years ago. Excellent video.
I appreciate this video - it is the first one that came up upon my searching. I think it fortunately or unfortunately is a better video because there were some errors in use that could be pointed out by other viewers. I'm glad you are safe and I am glad you shared this video - I think it will help at my home. The only thing I still question is how much of a slope could be safe - probably nearly none - but I can ask when renting since I don't find that info so far online. Thank-you!😊
Wondering if it is a problem if you have to set this up on a slight hill in gravel driveway? I'm not actually going to operate it - hiring a guy who will use it, but I like to be prepared / know how it's going to work before hand. Don't know if people still read these?
It's like my Spring is too long. You won't allow me to put the log all the way in
Thank you so much for this video.
That was hilarious. You are truly honest in your 'human' experience and lack of knowledge with this piece of lifting equipment but it was informative. TY
A Real Man: As you can see, this endangered species is in his natural habitat. His life is threatened by a new age of lazy, entitled, snobby generations with their highly developed technological devices. You could learn so much from this type of creature. If you take the time to engange with one of them most of the time they have life lessons and and if you are lucky and can find a beer for him he might have some unforgettable stories and jokes that you will ever witness.
Only video I've seen that truly captures the feeling at height. Nice job. Wow 7 years.
Thank you so much for a great education on rear breaks. God bless you
Very good info Thanks ! p.s. I believe the hand brake is for when you are not using the lift. So it stays where it should when you park.
thinking about renting this. is it light enough to maneuver by hand? i gotta side i cant drive to but gonna need something like this…
After rear brakes replacement why does the brake pedal pushes in further than usual?
This video has really helped me as I plan to replace my rear brake shoes. Several of my questions were answered through your process. I believe I can do this job myself. Thanks.
Great info

Question: do you NEED a wiring harness or any wiring for the boom lift to the truck? From what I'm seeing and reading, the brakes are only engaged like mentioned in the video. The reason I ask is, because apparently home depot doesn't lend these out to people around me. You have to actually go through compact power and THEY deliver the boom to your house. So needing to tow it around is actually not needed. On public roads, that is. You still physically have to tow it to the spots on your yard anyways. And if I'm on my private property, I really don't need the wiring or lights. I just don't know if the brakes are affected/needed to be turned off. Turns out, all 3 of my vehicles have NO trailer hitches. Ok not so bad....I'll go rent one......oh....ok...home depot won't let you use their trucks for this. They lock their hitches and its not for personal use....wtf. Ok off to menards....... Oh, not a single truck they have, have trailer hitches. what in the actual sweet buttery batman. A $200 trailer hitch bolts onto my jeeps back bumper, so I thought I was good to go, until today I just realized, there's no wiring for the trailer for the jeep. This job is turning into a nightmare.
What a pain in the balls!😅 Thanks for the video buddy!🤘
Do you need to leave it hooked up to hitch while your use boom?
You have to hook it off
@@bekind2047 lmfaooo you mean unhook it from hitch
No bad idea.
@@bekind2047 yep
Thank you for this video. It helped me. My truck was down for a week and I had to go to training next week two hours away and I was limited to two days to getting ready. Your video saved the day man. Thank you!

Always check ground conditions, I operate a dry run to make sure our riggers aren't sinking slowly. Maybe over kill better safe than sorry
Thanks for the video because the Home Depot People didn’t give me much instruction !
Nor did they give me.
您好,朋友,我们是最大的JPG男士升降机销售公司,我们提供具有成本效益的价格,如果您有兴趣,请告诉我,我可以向您发送照片和价格
Is there a button to drive it into the spot needed or does it need to be towed in the desired spot?
Thanks for this video... hope u doing great keep it up....
Thank you ❤
Renting this to install Christmas lights this year! Super informative video. Now I’m not nervous about using this thing!
If you have any problems call the number on the machine and one of the techs will walk you through any problems. Errors happen all the time during Christmas
thank you. you made this seem super easy and have lessened my stress levels when thinking about preparing to use this.
