Are you selling this model?
Very helpful with the enamels, thank you
Thanks for info. I've been struggling trying to airbrush this paint straight. I know now that I have to thin it.
Maybe, before attempting how-to videos, we might want to learn how to use a camera.... disappointing....
Glencoe did a 1/48 Duck many years ago.😊
So, I have to cut them out? They don't just come off the backing paper like regular decals?
They do, I don't know why he cut them out so closely. Seems a waste of time.
Tamiya x20a works well with these paints from my testing.
This is so underrated, your videos are great!!❤
Seriously, so underrated❤ Your videos are very helpfull!
Ok...thanks for this clarity
The Kennedy wasn’t a nuclear carrier.
Alcohol does not work for the fluorescent paint
Cool model.
Great review, you only forgot to mention that they handsdown have the best spareparts departement and are very affortable.
Just to let everyone know, you can't add alcohol to the Revell Aquacolor gloss paints as they gel up completely
Greetings from Monster Hobbies in Canada (One of your customers - ask Tim. ) This stuff looks good, like dyed plaster. I like how your Razor Crest model is going. The paint on there looks like real metal. Now you just need an Ho scale McDonalds to put by the Razor Crest for the episode where the Mandalorian got hungry.
I am concerned about those vinyl tires eating the plastic over time! Styrene would be better.
Concise, quick & informative.
Thank you .I have seen these paints and I was trying to figure our their usage. I appreciate the instructional videos that you put out. I buy most of my supplies with Mega and will give these a try.Thx Carl C
Great info thanks!
They also have kits with only plastic sprues, overtrees. Good if you have some leftover decals and guide from a profipack.
i use this my own, hime msde thinner and works fantastic for me: 45% water, 40% h99,9%) Isopeopy alcohol and 15 % Propylen Glycol.
Revell make their own thinner for Aqua Colors aswell. It's good for airbrushing as it contains thinner, as well as retarder. The tip won't dry so fast on your airbrush, which is common with Aqua Colors on larger models, like 35th scale or 32nd scale that require a lot of spraying time. I like Aqua Colors on smaller models. For bigger models I use Mr. Hobby or Tamiya, still the best paints around imo.

Uss Kennedy cv67 was not nuclear powered
And the Enterprise was not an Essex class ship.
@@JM7284 Neither was the Yorktown
@@doug4932 Did he say that? Missed that one.
Hi, so with the email color you just use the color normally and when you done you dip the brush in the color mix? Aren't you supposed to mix them together?
I like the size of those bottles and the brightness of these colors are very interesting as well.
Very good videos, and easy to understand, even for people who are not americans, I think it's very important, an english clear for everyone in the world.
Excellent
Lacquer thinner is not good for true water based paints, like revell Aqua and Vallejo. Lacquer thinner is better for alcohol acrylic paints, like Tamiya, Mr Hobby, etc.
So you know what i can thin matalic paints from revell aqua colour please ?
@@richardbrown8789 you can thin, for airbrush or brush, with tap water, revell aqua color mix, VMS Airbrush Thinner 2.0 acrylic or other any universal water based thinner. The revell mix has already a retarder, what is good. Otherwise, if you want to thin the paint in the pot for extend it, i would use destilated water or revell aqua mix. I never tested IPA, water is chepear.
@@anselmoasaable mate thank you so much!! Really helped me out. Thank you
Thank you for this video you answerd my questions on these products
Think i will stick to brushing.
Good video, thanks! I would have been great to see the surface detail analyzed.
Can i use this enamel paint to paint bumper of my car in black with sponge brush ? Will it last ? Is primer needed please ?
i dont think so
Impossible stuff to airbrush. Iv used revell auqa color mix & it was terrible 10 mons my gun blocked up. Iv put tamiya paint retarder in the revell & I think it helped
Im having big troubles with their own thinner. Aqua mix. It dries up too fast and turns into sludge in the container of the airbrush. Can someone please help me? I tried it all...1:1 2:1 3:1 ratio...wirh water only, with aqua mix only...blend with water and aqua mix....same thing. Went to the shop bought new paint. Spared well for 40-50 seconds...same happened again...anyone?
@GuitarTherapy144 me too. Iv bought 2 different looking bottles Aqua mix & colour mix, both made by Revell both don't work. Iv tamyia paints & there thinner, that turns paint globby. All you need is 99% isopropanol alcohol. It works with tamiya, revell & Humbrol paints if isopropanol dont cut your paints buy a different paint brand .it's all you need as a thinner it's really general purpose
Some Closeups of the boxes would have been nice.
I accidentally mixed Revell acrylic with AK Real Colors thinner and got a great result. He also diluted the enamel well.
Thanks - I was just wondering how do these work, thanks so much for the video - just brilliant
I like car/truck kits but I wouldn't buy ICM until they offered 1/24 - 1/25 scale to match my other car/truck models. They have a bunch of Model T variations in my scale, some OUTSTANDING historical 1/35 vehicles, cars and trucks, but not my scale. Five kits in a series about the Chernobyl disaster (1/35). Some fascinating historical kits, well-detailed.
Thank you for this video. I have a lot of these paints but have not tried airbrushing with them before as last time I thought about it I got the "turns to sludge" thing happen when I tried thinning (with Vallejo airbrush thinner IIRC) and got too frightened about wrecking my airbrush. I might try again now!
All the revell aqua color are super thick and I tried using water to thin and it never worked.
Il y a des lumières et de la vapeur ?
Thank u very much, I’m just a beginner at the age of 13 and I ant to know what is better paint for the revell models
Thank you so much for this video! I purchased resin/rubber wheels for my heinkel 219. First time working with resin and this helps a lot
What cowboy figure is that?
Thank you for the demo on Revell paints..I’ve got a few and just paint with them and they work well..But I will now try airbrushing with them..Thank you again..🇬🇧🇺🇸👍
Why does Eduard only make 109Es in 1/32 scale why no Fs Gs or K?
I ordered quite a lot of items from you when I was in the business all those years ago. Glad to see that you are still around.
These product overview style videos are REALLY good. I'm not totally sure why, but as someone new to hobbying like this, it's hard to find quality videos that can highlight and explain a lot of these things. My only complaint is that I enjoy them so much, that I sometimes wish they were longer! The explanations are great. The video showcasing the differences in Eduard's lines of products was especially helpful. Keep up the good work! I hope there's more to come. I'll be watching.
TOTALLY CRAP PODUCT, DONT WASTE ANY TIME..POOR RESULTS WITH ANY TYPE OF THINER USED
