Sally, I’m so grateful you were so honest about your upset feelings prior to starting chemo. Today I am in exactly that place with exactly your feelings of grief over my hair, and for all the same reasons, same long hair for about 30 years and it is a loss of my identity. You have SO given me the courage just to get on, cut and get used to a short haircut prior to starting chemo in about 3 weeks time. I knew I was going to have to take control and your talk has already inspired me to get on and do this asap. Thank you very very much x

Thanku so much for this video and to Tracey for doing this while smiling, so that it looks a little less scary 😊 Sadly I'm going thru chemo for the third time. First time when I started to lose my hair it receded and went very thin but didn't completely fall out, so I asked my hairdresser to tidy up the bits of hair I had left and she still charged me £35! Second time I didn't lose my hair (phew lol!) But this time its falling out again. I'm on palliative care now so once the chemo stops working, I'm out of options so won't have time to grow my hair back 😔I've been stubborn and wanted to hold onto the longer bits of hair I have left, but it's looking messy now, but couldn't justify spending so much money at a hairdressers to have my tufts removed, (or am I just tight lol) so was thinking of using my hubby's clippers to cut it short (No4) instead but didn't know where to start 😆But after watching your video I'm ready to give it a go, so thanku again and all the best 🥰 x

I experienced COVID that lasted around 12 days. I thought I was fine until I began to lose more hair than normal. After doing some research, I've come to realize it’s from the stress my body went through during that time period and also due to the shampoo I had been using. So I started doing meditation, yoga everyday and changed my shampoo and conditioner to littleextrraa coooconion anti hair fall kit. And now i dont face any hair fall. Thanks for this video! I am finding these videos really helpful. Nurses are so busy and not all have this kind of detailed knowledge and experience. I am up for my third treatment and losing a bit of hair but feel a great deal more confident armed with your tips and explanations. My first treatment came as a shock. I didn't know what to expect and I felt like an alien in the cap, it was uncomfortable and I nearly gave up. Many thanks for helping me to understand and for the quick round up of learning points at the end of each video.
