Its wonderful that people have options.

And I love that, much like in the animated version, Perdita snuggles with her puppies when they are found, just soaking herself in their essence, to reassure herself that they are safe...and when they are rescued by the police, it is beautiful Mama Perdita who barks to let them know that they still have one more puppy to count, when we see the other dog bringing little Lucky back to his Mom. Mama wasn't leaving until ALL of her puppies were safe and accounted for. And I love that when the officer said they needed to find a home for the rest of the puppies, its beautiful Mama Perdita who speaks up again, wanting to keep all 99 puppies. And much like when she tells Anita that she's expecting, Anita asks Perdita if she wants to adopt all these extra puppies and she says yes and that's what convinces Anita to adopt them.

My heart just broke for poor Perdita in this scene. You see her running in, desperately searching for her babies, and then the expression of pain and worry on her face when she sees the bed is empty, and she looks back at Pongo, as if confirming their worst fears and he looks devastated and then she curls up in their bed, trying to surround herself in their scent, and all Pongo can do is lay down with her to comfort this beautiful mother, and the humans watch on, sharing their grief. And then they go on this journey, determined to get their children back from Cruella.

That movie was awesome. I got 12 tickets to the cinema from FoMoCo. 4 as a bonus for car testing and 8 in some contest. I remember that I was listening to the hot fuel music in V8 mustang while training on skid pad. Good times....

There's something about Pongo and Perdy being included when the police found the puppies. They weren't abducted to begin with and yet the police noticed how it was so wholesome for both parents to accompany their puppies.❤

The puppy jumping on the airedale terrier while it stands watch while they escape is so cute. It looked ike it was thanking him for helping them escape.
