Thank you for your review. I agree with you about the complainers. I'm in that group that had the picture with the circles, and I couldn't see a thing wrong either! :D Same page I think had people talking about the dolls being worthless unboxed. I just shake my head.

Okay your mini-rant about collectors and screening issues tho. I roll my eyes so hard anytime someone is like “oh no i got my doll and her face is so WONKY, look the eye is slightly higher than the other!” And like… yeah sometimes you can see it and it looks wild. I had an early g3 Frankie who had one eye that was clearly way smaller than the other and you couldn’t unsee it. But like generally I’m just like, no babes that’s just what a doll face looks like to that scale

So they gave Ariel a petticoat, but not Mirabel? Wth. And man you are reminding me of how much I hate the American Girl Disney Princess Collab. Compared to the Disney LE dolls and other American Girl Dolls like Kaya or Kirsten they just suck so so much.

I need to know what these “earrings” are at 6:30. Apparently I’m missing them but they’re not mentioned in the “contents”. I’ve seen them on another listing on eBay though so they must belong to this playset. Anyone know?

I’m absolutely 1 of the people who thinks the general release Ariel is slightly better than the D23 doll…per my personal preferences. The top of the D23 visually tracks as “tavern maid” to me. It looks to me like what Ariel would wear as a costume to a renaissance faire. Both dolls are gorgeous, though. 😀

Collector's complaints about their dolls having wonky faces have made me paranoid about the dolls i get having wonky faces. I didn’t use to care about it.

I still need to pick mine up from my PO Box before the new year. It's cheaper to drive there than it is to pay UPS for their "handling" fee to Canada.

The way they did the Bratz release reminds me how Disney did the Nightmare Before Christmas Starbucks cup. It was a bloodbath the first time around. And even when they capped it at 2 per order, it still was hard to get it. I know the queen Amidala enamel pen and doll for the 25th was actually smoother to get. And I thought at least star wars would be crazy. Sometimes I think these brands do it on purpose. They know the viral marketing and collecting at an all time high. 🤷

I know Mattel is stingy but I hope they gave the cast members of the movie their own doll....

I got that tropical Ariel for my birthday when I was a kid. The Tyco stuff was so cool.

I just bought my first 18 inch doll after a lifetime of never really liking them 😅 I did it because I love to sew and I want to start sewing doll cloths for the kids at my family church, and smaller fashion dolls are more challenging for me to sew. Instead I’m starting with 18 inch dolls. I bought the brunette Clara doll from the nutcracker set of the our generation brand
