Dynamite interview! So glad I found this channel! Can't wait to listen to more of these. Thanks for sharing, Jason (very cool you went through the internship, by the way- I went through the jumpstart program a while back and am going through the specialist program right now)! I can't believe this only has 262 views. Great information here! The inverse relationship of mechanoreceptors and nociceptors is fascinating.

After trying several gyms and Rec-centers in Colorado for 10 years, I signed up for LT Fitness last week and I must say, it is pricy, comparing to the other fitness centers I've been but I must confess that it is really something else at a higher class.

I lost 18 kgs / 39 lbs doing no specific cardio ( NEAT... was my go-to form of moving more ) - weights and body weights ( because I have a desk bound job ) was my only form of specific exercise, and that was paired with OMAD. OMAD although not ideal or recommend by most for muscle preservation and no doubt muscle gains, it surprisingly worked for me on both counts. OMAD enabled me to lose the fat I did not want, without starving myself and I gained muscle. Caveat: the muscle gain was not great, but it was noticeable no doubt enhanced by having less fat covering it. When tracked - my intake comprised of 60% fat and 20% each from carbs and Protein. Which w/r protein came to about half of what is recommend, again not ideal but it worked our for me. That was then, I do things slightly different now, now that I am in maintenance mode. Thank you for uploading and sharing.

Thank you so much, I started training someone already, and they desperately want abdominal muscles because they have pretty much a really good physique, but due to having three children, she wants a nice core. I could just come up with my own routine, but I found this online because I used to work out at Lifetime. I'm gonna use these workout tomorrow and absolutely crush the session! Seriously - thank you!

same principle applied to HIT in weight training...lifting until momentary muscle fatigue...one or two sets per exercise...shorter and less frequent workout durations

I know what you mean but sometimes Just being with what is can be difficult as the ego and mind continually say the opposite so doing the work really changes that and I feel it’s far more effective at a deep level at initiating change more so than meditating and trying to get rid of thoughts because you can’t they just keep coming n coming ❤️

Guys, fantastic podcast. I attended Dr. Kravitz’ seminar on metabolism at Australia’s Fitness convention, FILEX, in Sydney in 2005, and it was brilliant. We train a lot of older population in our centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the insights we obtained from the seminar we still use today in our training. In fact, we’ve included some of his recommendations from that seminar into our own computer program to allow our trainers to monitor and assist our clients with their training and fitness. Dr Kravitz, in a small way, has helped in the success of our centre, and it’s good to see he still has that enthusiasm a decade and a half later. Thanks again for such a great podcast.

Is it safe to assume that fats for cooking, such as lard and tallow, despite the hormones and antibiotics given to animals today, is still a much better option that any organic oils?
