Corey is a mad lunatic about cars, having owned over 30 (mostly sports) cars in the last 20 years. He currently works as an Audi Brand Specialist for Audi Colorado Springs, and documents both new and used Audi models available for sale through his dealership, and includes videos of his life in the car world! He currently owns a 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition that he tracks regularly, a 2003 Audi S8 with a 6-speed manual conversion, and is dailying a 2023 Audi Q4 e-tron. Corey has owned Porsches, Audis, BMW's, Subarus, Toyotas, Nissans, Mazdas, Volkswagens, and even a couple Jeeps!

Reset service indicator D2 Audi A8 S8 facelift

How-to manually reset the service indicator on the D2 facelift or ~2000-2003 Audi A8 and S8. 1. Press and hold “000.0” (trip odometer reset) button with key in ignition OFF 2. Turn key to ignition ON (do not start engine), release “000.0” button 3. Press “CHECK” button. Display will show “service in 10,000 miles” or “service in 9,300 miles” (rough equivalent to 15k km)

It is a really cool interior; I have grown quite fond of the Bauhaus styling! I think you are right; the MK1 TT is just starting to hit its stride in the collector market.

Fortunately, no one is obligated to buy a $59,000 luxury automobile. The value is determined by the market, and in this case, it was worth paying for someone. Want to buy a new Civic Type R? I've heard of $25,000 addendums.
@@CarsandCorey You're right, fortunately we do have the choice not to shop at this dealer who is taking advantage of the current situation. There are plenty of other dealers who are fair and not charge over the MSRP!!!

What is an addendum to the price of $2,500 mean? What is it buying? Is this just an uncharge to take advantage of tight supply?
Correct, it is an upcharge. We included prepaid maintenance and window tint to the customer as part of it, but they basically paid a “market adjustment” as there were only four S3’s coming to Colorado initially, all of which sold almost immediately.
@@coreykononchuk We are ordering an RS3 here in New England when they finally can be ordered. the uncharge is why most consumers hate the car buying process. Glad I am not in Colorado.
@@1vtbear I don't disagree with you but it's nothing new, and due to the current market conditions, becoming common practice where demand far outstrips supply. It's not uncommon to see used S/RS cars selling at or above their original MSRP right now. OEM's are also raising the price on new cars - we have had a couple cars' MSRP increase by $1-2k from the time they left the factory to the time they arrived at the dealership.

Again, sorry for the mediocre-at-best quality! I had planned to do a much more thorough video, but a Bluetooth module which wouldn't code during PDI forced this car to stay in the service dept. for two weeks while we waited for a replacement to ship from Germany, and my plans went out the window. So far, this is an isolated incident with the e-tron GT.
