What’s the price for this work ?
Anybody else yelling BUY NEW BOOTS? 😂
HOW MUCH IS THAT REPAIR COST?
I've got the same boot. The factory cork rubber sole is great. Those boots did not look like they needed a resole.
*Because not everyone likes the soles on their boots (any boot in general). In general, besides getting repairs, other reasons people get resoles for sentimental reasons. Another reason is wanting to customize their boots. So these reasons are valid, and they're very common reasons why people do resoles. Perhaps the customer didn't like their soles, and wanted to customize their boots. We won't know for sure. It's just my guess. I could be wrong, but it does make sense since people do like to customize their shoes/boots in general 😊*
Your videos just popped up.... great work!!! Where did you go?? Start posting again!!
Good job sir can you tell me how much cost repair pair of shoes like this thank you
why not keep the red wing buckle but just polish it up? Was that a customer request? I just like to keep things original as much as possible and would be proud to show the red wing name.
Incredible work. Hope you come back.
Excellent heel work.
This is art
Seeing professional cobblers like you working in perfect harmony with technology and hand skills is truly amazing. Your an artisan sir and watching you work is incredible.
Where is your business located?
I can't wait to buy more Red Wings! Or maybe Thoroughgoods. What else is in the same price range for goodyear welted quality?
Cool background SKA tunes
HOW TO CONTACE YOU?
Damn, this has been very interesting to watch!
Could you have just installed a new leather insole, if the client so preferred instead of just patching the old one? Thanks.
The soles and heels are gorgeous.
1:58....the shoe in the back looks like a civil war brogan shoe....
Do you resole sneakers? I have some old Chuck Taylors made in USA before NIKE bought them and moved to China.
Nice looking boot. It amazes me how many resole and reheel these boots but fail to use the classic tapered sole and angled heel destroying the look of the original boot. You did it right.
11:50 Bottom left looks like a 1920s era ladies shoe.
Good to see young people doing real skills of old instead of just flipping burgers.😁
How many miles were on that boot?🤔
H&H are made by Corcoran. Not sure what the difference is except maybe the outer sole. I have this same exact boot has an H&H tag in the but also has another label saying Corcoran.
Nice!
dude looks like a cross between Spock and Elvis
Those oversized nails in the soles killed the overall look! 🤦🏽♂️
Peabody Shoe Repair Shop...this is the reason why I prefer the conventional jungle boots and desert jungle boots:they can be re-soled. Oh,and geez...I didn't know there's a sowing machine for"tough"materials.Tried to get alterations on my BDU's only to be confronted with griping about the material is too tough...from several"professionals".
He resoled these in the traditional fashion that has been around for hundreds if not a thousand or so years. The black issued, desert or jungle boots are resoled by cutting the sole horizontally then sanding it smooth then gluing a new rubber sole directly to it. Both are durable and extend the service life yet the new boots are way cheaper to resole. Enjoy your boots.
Very dangerous the way you were getting the cork out of the shoe one slip and you would be visiting the hospital ,keep the shoe on the last its safer.
Asmr, good deal man.
Hey buddy, I'm impressed by the machinery you have. I'm from Eastern Africa, Kenya to be precise and I'm in the process of starting a shoe repair business and I'd need durable, efficient and effective machinery. I need your help in finding the machinery like the ones you own...
I didn't know Kenya had shoe stores. I thought everybody just ran marathons barefoot.

You should definitely make more videos.
Show the buckles swap! Oh that would have been the icing on the cake. Nice work!
a message to red wing boots can you donate a pair of these beautiful boots, its ok if there seconds
I loved watching this video! Now I know what the guy who keeps my Florsheim Imperials looking new does when he has my pair. They always come back looking fantastic. I enjoyed this very much! Thank You for putting this video up!
Good looking boots Now 👍
Thanks you, my father was a cobbler, triyng to follow his steps, you got a new subscriber!
amazing work, it's too bad you had to use framing nails on the sole! Should have been able to find nails closer to the original at a hardware store..
Beautiful Job, I own 2 pairs of Florsheim Imperials Amazing SHOES!!!
Turned out sweet...have to work on the blake stich though.
anyone else nervous when he's pulling the blade towards his body with his face inches away?
Owner *really* liked those boots that are like 44 years old to repair them
I just bought a pair from eBay!
Those look good. Did you use the same cork though, instead of replacing it? Also, no groove cut in the bottom if the sole to inset the stitches so he's not walking on them and wearing out the thread?
Can I be your apprentice
You’re a true cobbler! Excellent craftsmanship. How much is the average cost of a job like this? Thanks!
