You really should play Fallout 1, then maybe 2, then play 3, NV, 4, A lot of hours but if you beat all the main quests in each game it helps a lot with the storyline of the show, If not watch someone play through it or read the main bits of lore you need.

Fallout 4 is a good game, that being said it is the weakest of the modern fallouts, the only benefit is that there are mods on console. Even as a solo experience 76 is a better game.

I saw the trailer for the first time and DAMN it was good. It captured the spirit of the games so well and did a great job of characterizing the fun and diverse cast. I can't wait to play.

fallout 76 would be way better IF it had an offline story mode, because personally i like the look, gameplay mechanics, and the world overall better. however not having that makes 4 the better option in my opinion. i also wouldn’t recommend someone playing 76 first before 4, because it’s a tad bit harder and may not understand certain aspects of fallout. always go with 4 first. just my take and two cents. ya dig? lol
