Peak voice acting but it's PS Exclusives
One of the main reasons if not the only reason people choose Play Station over Xbox is how good the Exclusives games are. And the favorite thing about them for me is the stories they tell. Cutscenes in these games captured using exceptional motion capture tech is even good enough to rival blockbuster movies. In this video I put together five such cutscenes that I found and felt as well acted, use the chapters below to navigate them.
Chapters:
00:00 - Ghost of Tsushima
00:40 - The Last of Us Part 1
01:35 - God of War
02:50 - The Last of Us Part 2
04:00 - Death Stranding

Assassin's Creed is a franchise that had some ups and downs but one thing that most can agree is they have really good stories with absolutely amazing character development. One way the creators grabbed us to tell those stories is using good performance capture acting, and here I made a collection of clips from Assassin's Creed games throughout the years that really sucked me in. Chapters: 00:0...
Insane voice acting

Freedom> beta incel Templar
You signal the rope cut in game it was an assassin recruit
Yes but i believe this is true as I heard somewhere that the assassin recruits were too slow to get to you in time and there out of what lil love left for his son he saved him :/ correct me if im wrong but the gent literally says it was written in an official ubi novel
I believe your fellow assains actually tell you just after that they were readying to rescue you but an unknown cut the rope
@@JxtpsdJkr yes this i heard b4
Try the Walking Dead. The whole freaking game is peak voice acting
Rdr2❤❤❤
That last scene in Marvel Spider-Man will always kick me hard in the feels 😭 There are times...when I question myself on why I willingly subject myself to things that will make me cry on occasion....and the answer back is always that I'm proving I'm still human and still have a heart ❤ The dark world we live in makes you question morality, humanity and compassion...makes you wonder how much further down the hill we can slide before those values become blurred, twisted and perverted....but stuff like this brings me back and away from such negative thoughts I only hope people will endure past the things that mean to bring us down and turn us against one another 🙏
You should do one with the scene in Arkham Knight where Batman talks to Jason after they fight.
Bro put soma too
The whole plot of the game is so... I get that people are stupid sometimes but why would you do it THE main thing of the main guy?
What do you mean? Can you rephrase
@@umarjaman2646 Shay acts stupid the whole game, and only at the end, after he has destroyed the entire regional Brotherhood, does he start to think *for a few seconds..* and only then does the issue resolved in a way that it should be in the beginning.. if he hadn't been acting stupid. Throughout the game, he believes the assassins did everything intentionally, which is already a not very bright idea. Instead of discussing his concerns, he just acts hysterical, yells at everyone, and then tries to make decisions for everyone because he thinks they don't understand what he, the hysterical one, does. And it's not just him. The whole Brotherhood makes the worst decisions possible throughout the whole game just to keep the "assassins are bad, so he had to do this" plot moving. Instead of creating an interesting story and giving us some controversy, the writers just made the heroes act stupid so they can clash over any stupid thing imaginable. I'm not a fan of the Assassin's side, by the way, but this one is just so bad..
Achilles and everyone were looking after the base, that’s their head quarters they would be doing the same regardless of if it was shay or not. What the difference was is hope calling off her guards and Achilles testing him when he sees him approaching as he could be coming to apologise. So they didn’t know he would betray them, Achilles May of suspected after the outburst but they wouldn’t have known for certain
Beautifully put together. SUBBED
The monumental fall of of Ubisoft is insane. They used thrive with cutscenes and entertaining characters that you couldn’t wait to see more of. Even if their gameplay was repetitive it still had a baseline fun factor to it and the entertaining stories were worth it, and now it seems everything past AC Origins is the most basic cookie cutter half baked shit they could make in a weekend
I know everyone thought Peter's final scene with Aunt May was the tearjerker of Spider-man PS4, but I always cried at "You were everything I wanted to be". Something about their genuine relationship turned into betrayal and anger really sold me with their acting, especially Otto's desperation.
I remember people saying Connor has a flat, emotionless voice. Looking back on it, and seeing the voice acting now, Connor was fine. His VA is Native American, and Native Americans do indeed sound like that. It doesn't mean they can't express emotion, that's just how they talk.
i think the lesson of this game was, its not the people its the individual.
where gta v ???
AC3 had the best acting. That’s why I loved it. Haytham’s performance especially was amazingly well acted
I never saw Achilles from the window
Wow AC really called out how politicians work.
Based Haytham.
You forgot 9S's lines when he is losing it. Best voice acting heard in my life. ua-cam.com/video/-fTEXaA6Y1s/v-deo.html
If Templars were a thing they would be in favor of the American revolution, no?
Kinda under appreciating other roles when you say "voice acting". We also have to thank these animators for giving life to these characters.
I’m so glad almost all of these aren’t exclusives anymore. I loved them on PS and now I can love them again on PC
I love Joel. What a waste I stopped playing TLoU, on PS3, when I had a time for it...
"It seems your mouth has tasted sour grapes"
the last spider man scene, even though i havent played the ps4 spiderman games, still gets me bad. because aunt may and uncle ben remind me of my own mother and father. i try to live up to being the best me I and my parents have always wanted me to be, knowing that one day my parents will no longer be there to see me grow into the person I want to be. Seeing that scene feels like that moment where i stand by their side, and hearing may say she knew parker was spiderman and despite worrying, how proud she was of him regardless sounded like such a thing my own mother would say. yuri's performance kills it, i wouldn't be surprised if he was actually crying because I certainly am. love your parents guys.
I'm glad ACIII is getting some love now. I remember when it first came out, the love for Ezio was so outstanding that it felt like III was doomed to not live up to the standard Ezio's journey set at the time.
God, the Colonial Brotherhood was fucked. Achilles' sanctimonious bullshit during Rogue was genuinely infuriating, lol.
Haytham speeks: *looks at America now* Ok Haytham now i understand your words…
For real tho. Among all AC characters from Altair to Basim, Haytham Kenway is the best and most relatable character. And his perspective is the most realistic too
"it seems your tongue has tasted sour grapes" I'm using that from now on
I feel like voice actors rarely get the appreciation they deserve, whether it's in games or animated shows and movies, a voice actor can sometimes make or break the character, one example of bad voice acting is Ada's voice in RE4 remake (no disrespect to voice actress herself of course), but a good voice actor can not only improve scenes but the characters themselves as well
Bayek's VA really did a god job you can feel the rage he had
Achilles literally broke the first Creed. "Do not kill innocents."
Bro we treated AC3 too harshly. The game made me question what it meant for me as an American, what it means to be American. With all the messed up stuff and hypocritical stuff my country has done to the Natives, African Americans, etc etc. Now Assassin's Creed is just mindless, conformist, slop made for the NPC Gamers that just consume.
Haytham was right..
"Liberty is invitation to chaos" couldn't be any more truer, preach brother!
Bloody hell you can actually feel Baeks Rage in that scene.
Is it just Ubisoft or are games just having worse facial animation graphics are progressed? There wasn't a single bit of emotion on their faces in the Mirage scene
Your rig was about to explode recording Spider-Man lol
Red Dead Redemption 2 lol
God of War lol
Haytham Kenway was the last true Templar.
We got God of War and Spider-Man within 5 months of one another. Insane
All but AC ||| and Rouge are motion capture but it's still great acting
Nah, Mirage looks like its was made by AI, how can Ubisoft create something like Black Flag end years later end up like Mirage lol
Looks like maybe, but sounds like? Absolutely not. Voice acting and writing is very good in that scene
templars are communist?
mirage doesn't belong here.
I think it is no coincidence that none of the games depicted came out in recent time. How far we have fallen man. Such a shame.
baldur's voice acting for GOW is another level than others
