@Magneticitist yeah you should he able to change the power levels. Standby mode only uses the ceramic antenna. But once you arm it will go to whatever level you set. I tested all levels. From 250 to 2000. Make sure you use the FCC hack on the goggles. If that doesn't work try searching VTX calibration. That could also be something that could help. Or if you don't feel like fooling with it send it back 🤷 but you should be able to fly with any power level normally available on the V2 style VTX.

@@xORLOCKx OK I figured as much. I appreciate the info cause the GT is my first experience with Walksnail. When I first tested it I was using the GT firmware and had the FCC unlock. I had it in 25mW mode and rode it around the house with a strong fan blowing on it and was surprised by how warm it was after a couple minutes. Later I noticed the VTX would always draw about 1.8A from 12V no matter the power level it was set to, but it would drop to about 500-600mA in standby mode. It also has really poor range. Gotta be faulty somehow I guess. Not the most ideal route but I'm impatient so I'll just buy another one I guess lol.

@Nik_FPV621 yes that's the print I use. I actually use it on all my builds if I can. Sometimes I have to modify it but it works great. MurdersFPV has an older video where he builds a SF5 and thats basically the same exact way I do it.

@FATSNAIL-FPV yeah I'm a fan of them on my bashers. Haven't used BF in a while except for the long range builds. I have not tried the voltera yet. Been just using Tmotor ESCs. Haven't really tried to find one.. but maybe I should try now that you mention it. I've only seen a little bit about them.

@@xORLOCKx using the T-motor esc's as well in my flatter frames and finally got my hands on in 2 Voltara's from the last batch They look solid. If I have the time one is going in a Supafly frame that has a blown ESC. One spare for good measure. Know pilots that are really flying the crap out of em and they are all very positabout the Voltara.

So I figured if it's gonna sling stuff into the quad I'd rather it be the cam. Then I saw people say it sucks your quad into branches with props in.. so I told myself if that ever happens I'll switch to out... 3 years later it's yet to happen 🤣 so I'm still props in.

@burdfamfpv the quadmula is more nimble and responsive. It's like a feather on rails compared to the ERA, not saying the ERA is bad. It's deff a great frame. If I had to make an analogy I'd say it's like a very well tuned APEX. Like you spent some quality time getting your apex dialed in and flying amazing. That's the ERA with a slight tune or preset.

@Smagsfpv had some leftover material where the action cam screw goes. They are sending me a new one. They should have had a threaded insert in there IMO. It's jusy a hole in the nylon. They were quick to help and send a new one out.
