    So basically lower carbs and salt, drink 6-8 liters of water until a day before weigh ins and cut out completely? It's Thursday and next Tuesday I have weigh ins for IFA world armwrestling championships, need to lose 5-6kg, so this is how? And I also have to weigh in 2 days later since I'm competing In 2 categories, so just drink a lot of water after first weigh ins and cut out water the next day before second weigh in? Thanks alot man

    • @Dallas-Langston
      @Dallas-Langston 3 дні тому

      Drink a gallon of water every day for 4 days straight. Day 5 barely drink anything. Day 6 is weigh ins. Drink nothing that day. If you have to weigh in again 2 days later it will be very difficult cause your body goes into store mode and you’ll retain water for a couple days. It’s doable but not fun. You may want to incorporate a super hot bath for 30 minutes on the second one and a sauna session with sweats.

    Great advise for most felons, however it is very dependant on the charges. It is even more difficult for me because I am disabled and cannot do construction or trade work or drive a truck. I have applied to over 200 jobs in the past month and the only ones that doesn't do background checks are restaraunts. I even applied to some of the listed felon-friendly places and same deal. Something else to consider, any job that you would have to sell liqour wouldn't work because you have to have a license for that and felons are not able to qualify

    Ok. So not marking the box that your a felon on an application will get you in the door maybe to the first interview maybe to the actual day of hire. So your working hard and the boss notices and starts throwing your name out to other employees and someone recognized you from the news, the boss finds out, it is an immediate dismissal, because technically you lied on the application. Best thing is to be honest, along with that at the interview mention how you have been rehabilited and changed your life. You may have to do this a few times but eventually you will get hired and the boss will back you if anyone looks you up. Good workers are hard ro find. .a felon 9 out of 10 will work hard and be on time for work because getting the job was a challenge and may not want to go through the time it will take to find another job. I've had the opportunity to be the the boss at a few companies and when i have had anyone with a felony tell me honestly i simply say, hey as long as you show up for work, be on time and try your best to do your job, your good in my book. the past is the past . And literally they have been the best hire sometimes over the other employees that have a clean record because they know they can get another job anywhere ,anytime.

    Unfortunately in Canada, 80% of the warehouses do criminal checks. One woman I knew was refused a job because of a DUI, from 15 years previous, she didn't disclose with the temp agency she applied at. That being said, I don't know what the US is like. Good luck to everyone though.

      @leeharcus7001 as I said, when I was a hiring manager for the companies I worked for, we did our background checks, but having a felony didn't automatically disqualify you from getting a job. In warehouse work, someone with petty larceny or grand larceny would be less likely to get the job than someone who has a dwi. It was the fact that the lady didn't disclose the info to the temp agency, and then it's the number of years past since the felony and what you have done with your life since then. We hire people we can count on. 3 out of 10 people hired will make it 1 year. Sometimes, there is some tell tale signs of who those people are, but mostly, it is an yones guess. Like I said, be honest and disclose that way you won't be let go just because of failure to disclose, and the boss will most likely back you if anything is said.
