i've been in the building trade for 35+ years, and every architect, engineer, draughtsman, roofing carpenter, tiler, plumber and bricklayer i've ever known uses millimetres for everything - it's universally understood by everyone and all drawings and datums are unwaveringly calculated in millimetres - where you get this idea of 2 metres, 5 centimetres, 4 millimetres from is beyond me - it adds an unnecessary layer of confusion and makes me think you've never worn a pair of boots out on a building site, let alone 10 pairs

hello really god tutorial thk for that . to bake a map of 20k in size to get the details up close I have to do it in udim don't I? because I think I have too many islands captured in the UV square and therefore it pixelates despite the fact that I capture in 8192, I have to put each tiny island in distinct udim squares like 4 by 4 to be able to properly capture the entirety of the map? after having done the bake in udim then I rebake it in a single image to insert it in a game which does not take the function of udims

Man that was a real good expounding on the topic (material). In my several hours of watching Blender tutorials, yours is the one where I could wrap my head around the concept of materials and their usage.
