Some guys just don’t have “it” and in Puljujarvi’s case he doesn’t have an NHL level hockey sense. It’s crazy how both Laine and Puljujarvi were insane prospects with all the physical tools you’d want yet it was Aho who became the best player out of the bunch.

The Swiss are a weird anomaly in the World Juniors. One moment they can hang in there and challenge the big countries and one moment barely beating the minows and getting stomped by the others. And yes I know a very late respond, but whatever

Because it's Russia. I don't like the country(mainly because of Putin). Besides, Sweden and Finland have so much in common and Finland was a part of Sweden for approximately 600 to 700 years. So if it doesn't go well for Sweden in a tournament of any kind, I always cheer for the other Nordic countries that may be in it, and in this case, it was Finland.

From Russia we see Finland as a smallish nation of boring people. Country with no history or significant achievements. Glad they were trashed this year that's showing them more appropriate place in the world. We respect Sweden though so it's pity to learn you think opposite. Too scared by Putin? Don't worry he's only about to restore old Russian borders not to conquer Europe )

In the ww2 we killed over 1 million Russians. A nation of 4 million humiliated a nation of 160 million. You Russians are like africans and people in Finland laugh at you!!

In my eyes both teams deserved to win, because they fought to the very last second in every game they played. Finland and Russia both never had it easy in the tournament, they managed to overcome their hardships time and time again and they never gave up the fight until the game was finally over. Gotta say that, even though I'm a Finn and I'm not a big fan of Russia, I still have to give that Russian team credit (everyone except their captain Kamenev because he lost his cool) for showing the whole world why they were playing in the final in the first place. But they'll be back. They'll be back even stronger, even hungrier, even more determined to win gold, that much I'm certain. Russia is not to be ignored, especially if you take a look at the World Junior medallists of the last 6 years

When you say that you love Finland in Finnish, it's actually like this: Minä rakastan Suomea. But close enough. And merci, brother from Canada. Hopefully our teams would get to fight each other at some point in the World Cup, because those games are always very close and they're really special to me no matter how the match ends.

Finland got a penalty, as long as Russia keeps puck posession the referees wont blow the whistle. Georgiev skated out for the extra attacker.
