You do realize this is basally the entire episode for free
You can see nibbler at 2:18 if you slow it down 😋
24:14 PUNCAKE?
What does 'END POP" mean in the small frame flash while they're in the suicide booth?
This is done on digital.
The sound in this is so weird. You can hear a reverberating echo that happens before the audio actually gets played. Listen closely right before he says “hello pizza delivery..”
so Niffler was planned from the beginning...
I love this shit
17:50 in the aired episode When Leela said "wait" bender replies "No thanks"
2:18 they had Nibbler in the storyboard too
"you stink dude! Even my gramma got past the first monkey, and she thought this was a cigarette machine!" had me rolling.
Bro the captions said $29.99😂😂😂😂
9:27 Steaming Meat Shanks? Like Ham?
Alot of people don't realize this is a pose reel, where both character and BG layouts are put together in real time. This is too much polish and detailed to be a storyboard, plus the character poses are on top of a single BG, instead of the same BG being redrawn very simple on every panel like in an actual storyboard done on paper. That's why also they were combining the CG animation with the characters, is the blueprint for the animators to know how everything is put together. Nowdays layout and storyboarding in television is pretty much the same thing, that's the reason why most stuff looks dead and ugly.
yeah this looks like what the episode probable looked like before RDK started animation
Bite my shiny metal ass!
Legendary workprint. <3<3

Funny that they showed the top of the Empire State Building coming through the ground to show early on that New New York was built on top of New York but I see why they removed it.
It’s incredible how a story board that is consistently drawn can make a show that is consistently drawn… almost like Cartoon Network niggas can’t animate jackshit 💀
8:26 "Nyheeeeee"
1BDI, nearly killed me. 😂
Desde el piloto estuvo planeado lo de mordelon? ven la sombra cierto?
On January 1st 2000 in the state of New York, the greatest rapper Ice Spice was born
14:37 LMAO
i think this show's gonna be good
2:18 you can appreciate the léela mascot shadow
Bender calls the suicide booth a ripoff, and he ripped that off. LOL!
@2:18; Nibbler's Shadow.
We can hide in here! It’s free on Tuesdays!
I wonder how they managed to do this animatic back in 1999
It was actually made in 1997
@@Wizz21 I wonder how they managed to do this animatic back in 1997
It’s nice to know what Bender’s first words were
17:37 I love this so much hahaha. Love it when there’s a little nonsensicality slipped in.
I love the extra voice recordings that never made the cut. Very neat. 📷
This is just, so cool.
"I guess the owls ate my potpourri" is one of those subtle character-building jokes
Cool
they should've kept the bike joke in there
The Empire State Building joke is super funny and even helps foreshadow that bit about Old New York!
Exactly, I wish they showed that in at least 1 scene in the show instead of it being knocked over in Old New York. Although there is a scene showing the before and after of Fry's house, and they included the Empire State Building not being there in the after portion, as it was knocked down, and I enjoyed that little detail.
I obviously cared less about Leela’s eye. What struck me as odd was the fact that her voice sounded so damn familiar… Also, I just love seeing pilot episodes that start great adventures…
9:46 the pencil drawings look weirder with certain positions. Like Fry’s neck seems longer than in color
😱
1.25x for best quality
The suicide booth voice controll error is so much funnier since I got a smartspeaker at home.
2:50 A few years later you find out who ends up blowing up New York. And no surprise, Bender's involved.
3:43, *I've must have been frozen for months* Me: DOES THAT LOOK LIKE MONTHS TO YOU???
It is amazing how different it sounds without music.
I'm sorry, but "Hey, my bike is gone!" is a way funnier line than what they went with. Fits Fry better I feel.
I wonder if Fry ever tells Leela he wound the clock back to 5 minutes.
"You own me one" Yeah, she became your wife, you own yourself one lol
I love the million years line.
