Thank you for your interest in our product. Yes AirMotion can be used via USB. Also, you can use it with Garage Band and any other DAW that use MIDI as a protocol communication.

Hi Melvin, The next version of AirMotion will work with all OS without mobile app.

We're located in Manchester, UK. We've been on the market for 2 years and for latency, it's around 30 ms : not noticeble when blowing or moving the head.

I don't think the TEC2 supports wireless MIDI over Bluetooth. I've never used a breath controller before but "no wires" seems like a big improvement.

@@jamietopolski4019 True.. And the TEC2 is more expensive, with added side tilt and bite sensors. It's also a lot smaller and in a flatter, rounded package, and probably lighter. While the size and weight differences are probably due to not needing an internal battery, they could have made the AirMotion package a little more aesthetic than a bulky sharp edged box. If you want the extra control of the TEC2 but need wireless, the CME WIDI (Wireless MIDI) UHOST is awesome and about $70, bringing the total to a whopping $210 more than the AirMotion.

USB connection is made only for charging or updating the firmware. There is no MIDI Data transfer on this port. However, AirMotion uses Bluetooth 5.0, which is designed to minimize interference problems by using techniques such as adaptive frequency modulation and automatic channel selection. In practice, this means that even in an environment with many active Bluetooth devices, there's a very good chance that your device will be able to operate without any problems. As far as AirMotion is concerned, it supports BLE 5.0 with an : -Adaptive Frequency Hopping: automatic selection of the least congested frequency channels for communication. -Extended range: a wider range than previous versions. This means that even if you're surrounded by other viewers using smartphones, Bluetooth 5.0's improved range can help you maintain a stable connection with the device you're connected to. Better coexistence with Wi-Fi: using interference detection and avoidance mechanisms. This reduces the risk of interference between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, which often operate in the same frequency band. -Extremely low latency: a latency of around 30-40 ms, which is below the audible threshold.
