The blue is a candy paint and has a silver ground coat before the blue basecoat is applied. Application is two coats of blue with a drop coat then lacquer x3 or 4 coats because of the decal on the tank.

Theres not a spot on that bike that doesnt have a scratch or crack. i agree the rotor looks burnt up. i hav 1987 with 945 miles on it. Mint condition

We have one with 12000 miles and I have to say it is much cleaner condition. Are you sure of the mileage? The discs look very worn. More like 36000 miles.

hey dude, your bike looks great, but, i think you should have it adjusted a little more. the engine is not that responsive when you give it some gas, it's kinda sluggish. probably it just needs some synchronizing and check the carbs if they're a bit dirty.

Hey bud, I have an 86 FZ600 as well, the idle speed should be set at 1200 when the bike is fully warmed up...it should still hold an idle at 1000 though. Check your spark plugs, maybe it's miss firing from being too rich which can cause it to die when idling
