I just stumbled onto this video. I enjoy telling stories whether fact or fiction but I would like to work on this skill of story telling. I didn't know there were books about storytelling. I am not much of a reader or good at reading. Question. If there was one book to start this journey, what book would you recommend me to read? A book that is inspiring but also gives practical steps and tips to be better at storytelling. I look forward to your answer. Thank you for your time!

best advice I got was to show not tell, skirt around the "truth" let your readers/viewers connect the dots, and craft your story in such a way that compliments the intelligence of your reader/viewer, don't get lost in exposition. leave a breadcrumb trail and allow ambiguation.
