@angelorosini4326 Hey, thanks for the questions! I don't exactly consider myself to be a Golden Dawn practitioner expert in any way. So I'm not sure I'm the one to answer that question. The Black and Green "Bricks" seem to give enough from what I can tell. But I can't guarantee ANY books without a single blind or editorial error. That's a tough one... As far as Crowley goes, perhaps look into Liber ABA? Or even Gems from The Equinox?

@@angelorosini4326 I've never read anything of his that I can remember, but he's been highly suggested. I'm planning on reading "The Sworn and Secret Grimoire" in the next month, though. As far as a certain grimoire goes, I've never read one that totally resonated with me so I always use them as a template, which I think is perhaps the best practice for some. Nowadays I just use my "own" material - which is a mixture of traditions and my own preferences - filtered through elemental formula. I haven't learned French, no. Why do you ask?

Part of the power from this type of practice comes from forging those parts of the philosophy yourself! I would think that an understanding of the forces, locations, and correspondences associated with the spheres would be enough for one to decipher the types of magicks one could utilize them for. That being said, I would be happy to make a video for this concept. Perhaps you can utilize the tips above until that video is released. Thanks for your question!

And like you said it's a very practical thing too! Do you think it's beneficial to keep an open diagram to fill in correspondences? Like on The Tree? God names, Plentary Forces, etc?

I was trying to be up front and real about how much this can take from some people. It wasn't my intention to be disdainful in any way.

Saw this comment before even watching the video and was pretty surprised to see it 😅 My experience of this channel has been very balanced and practical advice. I went ahead and watched the video for context and here's what I "know". This guy actually engages with his viewers and considers what they're struggling with and what people in this area of study typically struggle with, so I'm not sure who you think you're sticking up for? I myself have struggled with focus and motivation. During that time, I was definitely not ready for this second or third layer stuff and it appears to me that all he's attempting to do warn and prepare people for that if they aren't ready. This craft can be very discouraging and problematic when you enter it from the "wrong" angles and someone actually warning you about that (so you can eliminate as much trial and error as possible) is a sign they respect you, not a sign of disdain. Hope you stick around and that this helped clarify some things 🙏🏻

Absolutely, knowledge of symbolism can mean a world of difference when we're attempting to communicate with something like the unconscious "mind." Gradually does seem to be the appropriate way. That's the major reason I like using "The Ladder of Lights" and the "Stairs of Shadow," so to speak. It's much easier to avoid accidently slipping into the pit or being tempted to dive head-first into things we weren't ready for and locked away. As always, I recommend people work through their virtuous side first, though. I've never worked with those entities, but I have great respect for both of them. The closest to them that I've gotten in my practice is maybe Cernunnos and Ceridwen? Hehe, I'm glad you liked that metaphor. Thanks for your time and interest. I very much enjoy talking with you. did you become a vampire while going through the Qlippoth?

@jacobdiden8967 It depends what you mean. That's not a term that I would use, necessarily. Mostly because that word has so many misconceptions attached to it. I don't need to feed off of others to sustain myself if that's what you mean. But that's because I integrate the Light side of my being as well, instead of locking it off like a lot of others do. I did notice a change in mindset. I also noticed a change in my "energy." I think the whole idea of vampires and werewolves are associated with unconscious repression of our animalistic impulses. Sure, there are spiritual beings, much like these two archetypes. And, sure, there's some connection to astral "transformation." But, mostly, it seems to have to do with repressed aggression. If you go through the Qliphoth, and all that happens, is that you become more aggressive or dependent on others, then you more than likely only opened your shadow side. It still needs to be integrated. Otherwise, you will be its slave. And that is not mastery or "godhood."

@@qliphoth_quest I can understand the love and protection of a beloved deck. I have been interested in Tarot since I was 15. I'll be 50 in March. We won't do the math 😂 The first deck I read with was my sister's Thoth deck. Just me and the little white book. I was fascinated by it. How about you?

@lauramayfair7887 I can only imagine the depth of connection you must feel to the cards and their symbolism at this point. Do you have a favorite card art or a certain card that speaks more to you than others? For me, The Hanged Man and The Hermit were always very special to me. My interest first began when I saw my teenage girlfriends mom reading cards. But, I was raised in a home that believed all things "occult" were inherently evil. So, I wouldn't actually get into the art until much later... My first deck was the RWS that I bought for myself because I didn't know anyone else to buy me one, and everyone kept telling me you can't buy your own. But, that just didn't make any sense to me, so I took the plunge and have been relatively passionate about Tarot ever since. That would've been just over a decade ago, eleven years maybe.

@@qliphoth_quest What I love most about Tarot, I think, is the way it is a living symbolic language. The way we interpret and conceptualize the cards is influenced by our times, similar to the evolution of spoken and written language. Tarot is timeless and reveals universal truths about what it means to be human. It never, ever gets old. I still learn new things from studying the cards. My favorite Major Arcana card is Strength. It reminds me how important restraint and grace are. In those moments when it would be so easy to choose the low ground, can we strive to do better? In the Minor Arcana I am fascinated by the Six of Swords. Mercury in Aquarius. Transitions and soul-journeys. Seeking innovative solutions to our problems, the fresh perspective that only a vision quest can give. I'm glad you took the plunge and purchased your own Tarot deck. A very apt "Fool-like" leap of faith. I hope that Tarot supports you always in this wondrous and strange existence through which we muddle our way.
