Just a quick accuracy vs video i did with 5 of my pistols. I meant to say “bearing down” at the 7:19 mark. Also at the end of the video i could not find the pictures i took of the Jericho 941 and Walther pdp targets that were side by side. I appreciate anyone that watches.

Just talking briefly about the Beretta APX A1 that i have added to the collection. Also the Sig P320 i was trying to think of in the video was the XCarry i had rented at a range and shot a year or two ago.

Quick correction. In the video i said it's feed/loading ramp issue due to it being one piece that could lead to an issue referring to the Hammer Striker video. I misspoke as if it being 2 pieces would negate any potential problem. I should have clarified that the height of the feed ramp itself is what can cause the issue. Fortunately my PPQ SC has had zero issues and Walther stands by their pro...

Just discussing an underrated and interesting pistol the Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm. This isn't my pistol but i think this has got to be one of the best values for anyone in the market for a DA/SA gun in 2022. Also this gun comes in a compact model with the rotating barrel but the subcompact model does not have a rotating barrel. Big thanks to my friend that let me borrow it for this video. Also tha...

Just talking about the last gun in my collection. So this may be the last video for a bit. The Walther PDP I can't say enough good things about this gun. The after market recoil spring i installed was a DPM Systems. I am also really curious as to how the new PDP Pro SD feels and how improved it's Dynamic Performance Trigger is compared to the Performance Duty Trigger in a standard PDP like mine...

Blue mag followers = .40 and yellow = 9mm, I'm pretty sure
i’m not 100% sure myself but i’ve seen some 9mm mags with orange followers and my 4506 mags all have yellow or black followers in them.
@@sigsauershooter3009 Saw that in another video. But, I can't vouch for HIS sources
Would you be interested in selling it? I have been looking for one of these for a while now. I would accept a fair offer on it. I can't afford allot but I would be willing to buy it if you still have it. GOD BLESS!!!!
I actually no longer own this pistol. It was a great pistol and my first one but it was just sitting in the safe so i choose to get rid of it.
The absolute best thing you can do with that , is to buy up a goodly supply of ammo, a little bit of different loadings including p+. That revolver can handle it. Any way take it and the ammo and spend sometime wringing it out. I have a police trade in that is just like yours. I alter the grips a lot made them fit my hand and shooting style. In my humble opinion it is one of the best revolvers ever made.
nah it’s one of the only sentimental pieces i have not trying to wear it out.
All of these Sig P226 videos are pretty much the same. The old stamped steel ones got replaced with milled slide versions and that's it. Both models weather stamped steel or the new milled slide function the same.
both slides have slight differences. Pros/Cons to both if you will. Case and point my W German P226 frame will accept any currently manufactured slide but my W German P226 slide will not fit on my NH stamped P226.
Girly hands for a manly 1911
alright. How so?
Good video, an excellent self defense and collectible pistol
Thank you I really appreciate it. Third gen smith and wessons are great. I’ve never owned any 2nd gen or 1st generation pistols but always really enjoy coming across them when i’m out and about.
A Tysons corner sig! hella nice!!!
Thank you I appreciate it. The slide a little worn but i think it gives it some nice character.
Very nice West German Sig P226. I have a bad habit that I can’t stop buying these damn old West German Sigs. I absolutely love them and would never sell them
worse habits to have lol. I really want a Made in Germany marked P226 next. What are your thoughts on the P226 mk25 or the 40th anniversary edition coming out?
My P228 All German didn't have any American stamps and just had Euro markings !!!!! Never seen a Virginia stamp , just Exeter and Newington.................
I want an all German Sig P Series. P228 is an awesome gun. Sig was located in Tysons Corner,VA before they moved to Exeter, NH, if memory serves correct.
@@sigsauershooter3009 Yeah ,I got my P228 in 2000 for $400 and kick myself in the ass for selling it, when money was tight!!!!! I cry daily , LOL !!! Now they have the M-11 ,but mine was better ,smooth as butter !!!
I prefer the way the Beretta shoots and feels in the hand but the trigger isn’t good. But cant beat it for the price around $300 bucks. Also beretta sells suppresser height sights for the APX A1?
You got APX A1 for $300? 😮wow! I just purchased mine yesterday and paid $400 😢
nothing wrong with picking the beretta. Beretta does sell a set of suppressor height sights for the APX, but they are currently unavailable per their website
@@VolksStokesYeah Bereli was selling them for $299.99 recently. Don’t forget to redeem the rebate and get $100 back.
it says virgina....what does west german mean with that in mind?
go to 1:48 or 2:29 in the video you’ll see where the pistol is stamped Made in W. Germany under P226. What you are looking at is the SIGARMS import stamp, at the time back in 1987 when they were located in Tysons Corner,VA.
Be advised that your slide is manufactured from stamped steel with front and rear pieces on slide meticulously welded on and finished so you can barely tell. Love mine and have given it a “Legion”-like upgrades ( see Ferrari Steve video series taking a W. German shooter grade P220 and performing above mentioned upgrades). Enjoy it!
i really do enjoy it. Out of curiosity have you shot a SAO P226 Legion yet?
@@sigsauershooter3009 no I have not! Hopefully someday soon 😎
@@jameszywicki5814 let me know what you think of it when you do. I was lucky enough to rent one awhile back great SAO flat trigger in it.
APX is nice especially for the value. Compact and centurion models are my favorite
absolutely agree a fine pistol no doubt and great value like you said.
I just wish they had a more optic ready set up. Id buy one right now if they did vs what it offers as of right now
Love my 4006 & 411, both with ••• laser grips, and the .40 is almost a bear-gun (same bullets as a 10mm). This was supposedly the solution to the FBI being outgunned in Miami, but now they've gone back to the 9mm? FBI or ATF can barely wipe themselves, much less be proficient with a higher caliber, as it takes training... and who's time for that with all the Russia "confusion."
I know what you mean. It wasn’t that long ago that if a new pistol was chambered in 9mm, then it was certainly produced and chambered in .40 S&W as well.
The pdp just looks blocky.
it feels great in hand
No comparison, Walther wins hands down. I had to break in beretta, a lot of stove pipes. Hard to rack.trigger sucks.Walther right out of box no jams, trigger great.
Walther for me as well. My APX has ran good though, i haven’t had any issues as far as function. Only thing i’ve done to the Walther is replace the guide rod & recoil spring.
I've got 500 plus through my APX A1 and ran flawless. my trigger is amazing, got better for sure the more rounds I put through it
pdp trigger is not that amazing, esp compared to apx a1...all these triggers are decent..combat weapon will last way longer than pdp
I like those apx I want one
You’ll enjoy it. They are high value in my opinion.
Where did you get the APX A1 from?
I picked mine up at a local pawn shop used but not fired.
Nice gun
Thank you so much!
which one has more recoil?
I’d have to say the Walther is a little bit more snappy recoil wise but settles back to zero quicker. This is the compact Walther PDP and i do have DPM recoil reduction spring installed but i think the APX is still softer shooting due to it’s slightly longer grip and being just a little heavier.
The APX A1 has a lower bore axis so less muzzle rise. This may help - ua-cam.com/video/uAr2yW-dvVw/v-deo.html
His videos are always good@@candidob8683
Nice! I've held an APX... really felt good. The ergos definitely impressed me. I haven't shot a PDP, but I love my P99 and I had a PPQ .45 that was... magical. I can see myself grabbing an APX at some point--their affordable, too. Thanks for the video, my man!
Appreciate it man. You’ll absolutely love both. The APX is great feeling and i don’t know what Beretta’s long term plan for it is, but i already feel like it is an underrated gem among the pack of polymer striker fired pistols.
I want to try the P210 so badly after hearing him say - it shoots tight groups It is not funny - I did the same with completely normal low-profile guns in the past, and with this, I would probably shoot through the same whole 20x and more.
I always shoot pretty tight groups with whatever i have or whatever i’m renting/shooting of my friends. But the P210 Target for me feels so special. I’m really glad I was patient and waited a considerable number of years before buying it. It’s always fun to build up to something.I think you need to get one, i don’t think you will regret it.
That is the reason why I would love to try it from like 20 yards or more. Never tried one of this brand and the closest I was to this experience was with the 1GEN Berretta 92.@@sigsauershooter3009

Frame finish is called anodizing -- It is the most common finish applied to aluminum in weapons. The surface layer of the aluminum is chemically changed and hardened - there are military specs for anodizing
Thank you for the info
It was a 745 or a 1006
I think i was trying to recall the smith and wesson 645
Spent 20 years in uniform and carried the 4506 on my hip, the 457 on my ankle, and if off duty, the 4506 was swapped out for the 4566. Still have all of them and they are all still great after thousands of rounds. The 457 was great since it would receive the mags from either of the other models. Some of the best S&W ever.
Yes I have a 4566 and a 457. The 457 is much lighter and easier to carry. Love them both.
Nice!
love the 4506!
@@aread7 Have over 20,000 rounds thru mine and it still does great!
OK, I can top that. I bought the W. German P-226, P-229, and P-220 when they first came out. They are still new in box and unfired (other than at factory).
That’s Awesome!
No such thing as W German P-229. P-228 maybe ?
@@FiringPinProductions It says 229 on the grip but you're right, it doesn't say WEST Germany, just "Frame 229 Made In Germany". The slide has no proof marks or date codes like my 220 and 226 do. The 220 and 226 definitely have the W. German stamp on the slide but not the 229 - just Exeter New Hampshire. So from this I am concluding that only the frame was made in Germany. Many thanks for the heads-up.
No such pistol ever made referring to your Sig P229…… they never made a West German P229
@@marcschneider793 I'm looking at the stamp on the right side of the gun and your right, it's not W. Germany ... just Germany. [EDIT] I already stated in an earlier post that on the 229 Germany was only credited with the frame, but the 220 and the 226 were made in W.Germany.
i own 6 rugers they are my favorite firearm company
They make good stuff, i’ve really enjoyed this SR1911. I’ve got a friend who has a couple GP100’s that he enjoys a lot. I’ve also known several people that swear by 10/22. I’ve been looking at some Ruger American Ranch Rifles lately.
Good video. I have both the PPQ M2 and the PPQ SC. Both are awesome firearms. Still waiting for Walther to get in the single/double stack game with a PPQ/PPS hybrid to compete with the 365, Shield plus, Max 9 and Hellcat.
I appreciate it. Agreed I would like to see Walther do something like a PDP micro high capacity 9mm. I guess we have the Canik Mete MC9 which is probably the closest we got to a micro carry PDP other than the PPQ SC, but it’s still bigger than something like a 365.
I picked one of these up the other day with 3 clips for $500. Haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet! Chomping at the bit to check it out!
Very nice sir. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Great price to, well done.
There was some video about airsoft magazines and i commented "It's a clip" for fun, Now like 10 people are harrasing me and threatening me for that lol
Gee, anyone that uses that would probably get a lead salad. 🥗
Fresno/ San Jose ??? Lol
yeah i totally messed that one up lol
Hands ?
Listen to your cadence. You end your statements in question marks. it's an odd tick. Great gun though. I dig mine.
You’re right i am doing that. But i think you may be hearing me trying to recall range trips from years past in my mind and just racking my brain trying to remember things about the pistol. lol I could just be slowly turning into Ron Burgundy though.
Walter White carried one of these in the pilot of Breaking Bad.
He sure did! That was a great show. I always like the one Vic Mackey carried in The Shield. Great show if you haven’t seen it.
It's kinda sad what happened to it in second episode.
indeed it was@@HamFlare_12345
Well, you did it! Went back and pulled out my old duty WG Sig p226. I bought it new when the Department first authorized semi-autos. Mine has just been excellent since the day I bought it!!!! Still have the box. Still have the 20rnd mag I carried for backup. Brought me home one night. I'll never sell it, ever! Looks like yours is a bit older than mine? My serial starts with U 173 *** No. I do not believe that is the original mag. Mine are marked SigSauer P226 on the back and there are witness holes joined with a zig zag pattern. Thanks for sharing your with me.
Made you move some things around the safe huh? Glad to hear it served you well on duty and got you back in one piece. i’d never sell it either if it saved me. i’m for certain it is not an original mag as well. I have a few of the new Mecgar 18 round magazines but they don’t look like the one that came with this pistol. Mag looks a little beat up but functions flawlessly thankfully. Just like the pistol it’s self.
Enjoy it and let me know how it is after you shoot it, pls?
will do. I plan on doing a follow up of shooting it back to back with my US made Sig P226.
I bought mine for almost 800 euros, and we are in Italy
It’s a good gun i think. Do you like yours? Is it worth it at that price point for you in Italy?
@@sigsauershooter3009 Yes, I'm happy with my gun, but I don't understand the price difference, almost double here in Italy, in the end it's a bit of plastic and iron,
That is quite a bit more. Just out of curiosity is your APX chambered in 9x21mm? @@zaro9709
@@sigsauershooter3009 no is 9X19 apx A1 is the only caliber done
I bought the same set-up and agree this is a smoking deal. This pistol has been tested and has proven itself as a tough hombre. Have fun with yours.
heck yeah. back at you man.
Love mine. Way better than the M&P M2.0 I sold. Can be had for $289 (plus tax, shipping, FFL fee) after rebate right now, which is crazy good. Only downside is the $30 Beretta charges (plus shipping) for the various optics mounting plates. By the way, the full size Glock 9mm is the Glock 17, not 19.
I still love my M&P’s and my Walther PDP , but glad to have this APX in my stable. I got this one for $590 with taxes background everything included. You must have misheard me in the video, I said it was a full size grip with a Glock 19 size slide. Basically the Glock 45. I wasn’t stating that a Glock 19 is a full size pistol.
Hammer fired Sigs are my favorite.
absolutely nothing like a Sig P series
Sweet collection!
