Deion Sanders did me this exact same way when I was in college. I was working at this comedy club and one of the officers asked me to get his autograph for his son. He was divorced and he kept a tablet of all the celebrities autographs who came through. He was gonna give it to his son as a Christmas gift. I was born the same year MJ made his comeback to the Chicago Bulls. I never met him but he always was my favorite player. Then one day when I was a teenager my mom came to me and said “I’m sorry to tell you this but Michael Jordan is an asshole.” I didn’t know what to say at first but after hearing Chamillionare’s story and others after that it all made sense. I still have his Bulls jersey and one pair of Jordans but I just haven’t worn them.

My dad hooped against Jordan in gym in Chicago back in the day. My dad’s young nephew, was a huge Jordan fan and about 10 or 12 years old. After the game my cousin asked Jordan for an autograph and Jordan said no I don’t do autographs. My dad had to basically say “Mike give the kid an autograph, that’s my nephew” then Jordan reluctantly autographed his basketball. I believe this story, Mike was never personable 😂
