Have you had the tails break where you peirce the hide of the rabbit strip?
No. I add a dab of super glue/resin
So good!
Great video, and I appreciated the tongue-in-cheek title! Very nice Browns, thanks for sharin!
Thanks. I knew someone would have a sense of dumb humor around here.
“Invasive stocked native brown trout” yeah someone dropped out of high school
Had to go in order to drop out. Mee-ma scooled me. Thanks for watching and the kind words!
@@fishyintentions4305 bro really just brutally murdered me with kindness
click bait...... Invasive and stocked? Native and wild? WTF over?
Aren't you just the smartest !!!!!
I think he was trying to be funny but wiffed
The worst Invasive species in Pa are people from nj........
Lmao, nice.
hmmmmmmmmm?
So how is it invasive and yet native at the same time???
This title had a little bit of sarcasm in it :P
You could walk over and pet them first.
Don't recommend. That's how I lost my pinky.
Dang those big chungus are round
Caught 1 hooked 2 little 3wt same spot
What were they eating?
We were doing good on everything from nano\micro streamers down to size zebras and al's rats.
planted, look at the tails. wore down from being in the tanks.
Planted? they're likely stocked fish but you think these guys are planting fish for less than 500 view youtube videos?? lol. these fish fight eachother in the spring when they are spawning, very common to have beat up fins.
Might be worn down from digging in the gravel to build redds. Quit handling those fish. Keep them in moving water, with their gills covered, and if one must take pix, then do it quickly. Do not hold those fish out of the water with one hand on the tail and one at their head. That can injure their internal organs.
these are all stocker trout. Im confused as well
@flyfshrmn09 Not saying you're not wrong. But makes little difference when that fish is snagged out 20 minutes later and drug down a sidewalk on a stringer
@@flyfshrmn09 lol worn down from making reds? These are stocked fish! Also holding by the tail is the efficient and nicest way to handle these bigs.
Nice job , I missed this years stocking unfortunately, my buddies club puts those fish in. Whales 👊🏻
Caught some giants! How is there that many big rainbows in there. Is that club stocked or private
All water fished is public water
Nice fish. that was a big crowd. Were those other anglers keeping their trout?
Hey Dave. Yup, 99% of the people I'm always fishing around are keeping their limits
That’s a really nice looking creek. Liking the under water shots
Thanks 👍
any tips on catching goldens, patterns, presentstion, etc
Don't believe the hype. There's no secret, they're not harder nor smarter then any other fish out of the gate. The number one tactic to catching one is actually fishing for them. Be there first, find the one that hasn't been bothered. The second tactic is persistence. The more times something drifts accurately by their face the greater the chance a take. Sometimes it's first cast, sometimes it's over an hour and 300 casts later
@@fishyintentions4305 thanks man
As always another fun day fishing with you. Thanks for sharing.
I need to come to down your guys way lol our keystone select streams don’t have that quality fish like u guys have
@andrew_knight wish u could link that 5inch golden from the keystone waters this year here lol
U guys catch some tanks every video haha
Fishing before opening day?!?!?!!!!!!!
Gotta get to the fish before the racoons do
@@JP-dz7zuyou couldn’t be any more correct! It’s amazes me how many idiots think trout are only around just in April. Ps I’m the other guy in the video lol.
That’s awesome you got into a few big one! Still have 2 weeks till they stock my local DHAL waters
I’m in Lycoming county which is north central of the state. Quittapahilla creek is the closest DHAL that’s been stocked so far. It’s a little over 2 hours away but I’m going to give it a shot Friday.
Beautiful river!
Caught that exact same brookie 😂
Way to get the job done Glad to see you pushed up a video one more cast fish on. Keep it going.
Sick video man, you always catch the big ones!
Small!
“BIG DAWG!”
Also my voice sounds terrible
“DON’T TELL ME YOU’RE USING BAIT!” As he chums with pellets and tosses brown powerbait out.
How many big ones have you caught?? All of them! 😂
What we’re you using?
@@fishyintentions4305 thanks. I’ve been getting them good on egg patterns
Nice catch.
My favorite UA-cam fishing channel! Keep it up!
Nice catch
Nice trouts!
What were you using
tons of random nymphs. I primarily fish size 14-18 bead head variations
Loving the videos and hoping for some rain!
Awesome video and nice stream. Hoping to see more golden rainbow videos 👍
Looks like a fun day
Awesome video. A lot of fishing action
Thanks 👍
What at fly rod is that
Great video. Excellent channel.
Awesome video!
where is this? great video 😊
Awesome! Did they stock those golden rainbows this year or holdovers?
Sometimes Golden's get unintentionally mixed into the tank and end up getting stocked in the stream as a result.
A fun trip. Great look brownies. What weight rod do you like on that size stream?
Hey Dave, i use a 10ft 3wt on most streams, including this one. Since theres no real brush or impediments up aroudn the rod tip area i have no problems using it. It also allows me to get really nice drifts and control using the longer stick. I usually goto a 11ft on the bigger tailwaters like the tully. And sometimes ill drop down to something smaller like a 2-3wt 7-8ft on these smaller streams if theres brush impediments or the water is clear and low.
If that the upper or lower stretch?
Nice footage amd nice trouts
Thanks 👍
