you both really need a local experts to guiding you both for the the best grade of malaysian food tour because what ive seen here you both are misguided and gone to the expensive foreign food place.. please if im not mistaken go to the Mark Wiens UA-cam channel and find the malaysian food guide to learn with and you'll get a cheap and the best menus on malaysian best foodie adventures🤤☺️ trust me it will blown you away

Btw, Teh tarik and normal teh taste a little different.. Kampung Baru has a lot to offer for reasonable price and delicious foods.. please try Nasi Lemak Kak Chuk and others also and not forgetting Nasi Kerabu with ayam percik or with other lauk and also lontong, laksa, mee rebus and also satay..😋

A few tips: Mamak is actually local indian muslim store that is like a restaurant usually located at various shop lots. The first place you guys having the tea is a local malay stall, a majority of locals would call it a “warung” (wah-roong) Also, make sure to always stir any drinks that you have, stir 10-20x. Any kind of traditional snacks like pisang goreng can be found easily in the evening as it’s usually eaten for tea-time in the afternoon.

These monkeys are macaque, most common here, n they're bit aggressive. Their cousins the pig tail macaque are bigger n more aggressive, looks like baboon. If you like monkeys recommend visiting Bukit Malawati, the leaf monkeys 👌

Mansion Tea stall is not in Brickfields! It is at the Masjid India area!

Don't worry about language barrier when you talk to locals. Some people might even surprise you when it comes to English. Passing English is mandatory from the education here.

The monkeys in this video are the macaque, they're everywhere here..if you like monkey recommend visiting Bukit Malawati, another type of monkeys: the leaf monkeys

Yes, Kampung Baru is part of history of Kuala Lumpur, very old more than 100 years old. Saloma was a singer, an icon during the 60's. I like that you guys did a bit research n exploring local places, keep it up 👍👏
