I have the Apple TV since the first iteration and never faced any bug or anything bad. It is very well built and is reliable. Plus, the internal processor is very efficient!

If I want to play games, I'll turn on the PlayStation.

I'm curious about actual streaming performance, like how often and quickly they get to the top mbps. Apple's TV+ seems particularly challenging here, at its top bitrate it has a higher quality stream than most mainstream services, but the double edged sword with that is lesser streamers like some TVs built in Roku's struggle to get that high bitrate and it ends up looking worse than 480p for some stretches. My PS5 does much better but it still has that very low quality start of the stream unlike every other service. Not sure if an Apple TV 4K would help, or a Google Streamer would be fine here.

It’s simple if you want third party apps get the streamer if you want the more powerful device, better picture quality and no ads but limited to Apple apps get the Apple TV.

I wouldn't buy any of these. You can't download your own programs. I buy android boxes. I'm free to download just about any program i want.

It's good alright except for the fact that the screen freezes regularly on startup with AA. A restart is the only solution. And while using AA scrolling true list of for example Spotify it stutters like hell.

I have q series Samsung 85 inch tv and this sounbar. Sounbar is pc...sheet. I mean for music. Sub is about nothing. Samsung tv are junk. Previuosly I have Sony 75 inch tv. Sony was Sony:) Unfortanely my child broken Sony screen.

So if I connect an external hard drive (that has bluray rip movies of lossless Dolby Atmos TrueHD) to Xiaomi Box, which inturn will be connected to JBL 9.1, so will the sound output be lossless Dolby Atmos TrueHD ?
