    Good work, you've used a Rad system// I use to clip a short lanyard directly to the hand ascender to have a redundancy ( specialty in big trees) Great video, I liked it. 🙋

    • @overwatchoutdoors910
      @overwatchoutdoors910 Рік тому

      I reviewed it because I liked it. It’s a new saddle company that directly competes with my company so it damn sure isn’t about getting paid (which I don’t). I thought it was a good saddle and I made a video to help anyone out there that’s interested in one get some info about it. I reviewed it because the guy that designed it and started the company is a really nice guy that took a chance, and if I can help him out in any way I’m going to do it. If you design something cool Ron, send me one and if I think it’s a good product I’ll do whatever I can to help you. Because that’s what people should do for each other.

    Don't be afraid to promote. You make a superior product. Fight for it. I researched for 1.5 years before deciding which saddle to go with. Yours was the only one that didn't have a single detractor. It was the most well spoken of saddle I came across. In shootouts it was either the top, tied for tops, or a close second on every time. I am in climber country, but every time saddle talk comes up I always mention your products.

    I have spent the last two seasons in a Transformer. It has been used and abused. Still looks brand new. It has at least 50 sits in it. I feel no need to change. On the walk in I leave my leg straps clipped but not around my legs. I clip them in at the tree. Great product!

    Great job and all your videos, I'm wondering if it would be easier if I had a rope ladder connected to the rope around the limb to my safety harness and then climb the rope ladder to pull me up I could connect a second carabiner from my safety harness to a ladder step to stop and rest. I've never tried it but I'm wondering if it would work. You're essentially doing the same thing with your climbing method

    do not use a Knaider Swaider ccombination without having your linemans belt attached or using a tether. The other day when practicing climbing with a Knaider Swaider and wild edge steps. I becaue was only going up one step nd did not have my linemans belt attached to the tree. One minute I was attached to stand with my knaider. the next scond I was hanging upside down hanging from my Knaider. Yes, I was hanging upside down. After geetting my witts because and that I was only one step high I could get myself straightened up and disconected from the tree. I was a valuable lesson to learned only one step off the ground. I bruised my wrist and rib cage, along with my pride. It could have been a lot worse if I had been up 20 feet.

    The only thing that is a turn off for me is that it has no safety rating, most of the other big name saddle manufacturers have a maximum safety rating of 300lbs. Any chance you would have these rated at a later date?

    • @overwatchoutdoors910
      @overwatchoutdoors910 2 роки тому

      I’d love to have them rated. I’m not sure who to get to rate them though because there isn’t a company or process for rating a saddle that I’m aware of like there is for tree stands. The treestand manufacturers association TMA doesn’t rate saddles like they do as an industry standard for tree stands. There is no “Saddle Manufacturing Association”
