Just the best band in the world.. ❤
Jim once pointed at Ray saying "he is the doors".. What an artist, what a hell of a life he's had... You and your music will stay with us forever.
What an immense talent. Thank you, Ray, for being you and leaving so much to the world.
Oh my, such wonderful muscianship, Ray is without doubt our greatest ever rock keyboard player....SO sad he is gone! No one can replace him.......RIP Ray.....
Ray´s sensational playing & THE Master of improvisation all time! Based on this performance i did create a own version: ua-cam.com/video/0l1rHrdUTWc/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/0dAGe6e07HQ/v-deo.html
Sailing off to freedom shores!
Manzarek was the essence of the Doors. But, without Morrison's lyrics the songs don't shine as bright
JIM HUBIERA SIDO UN POETA MAS SIN ÉSTOS GRANDES MÚSICOS QUE COMPLEMENTARON CON EL.
❤
This song, "The Crystal Ship" is a jewel of a song by The Doors. This song,…Like a fine wine has only grown finer with time. This is vintage Doors off the Doors first album… Vintage !967 Americana.
Does anyone know where to get the tabs for this one? I love it, but I would also love to play this version!
Ray is missed. Thank you sir for sharing your beautiful etudes.
Gracias por la musica que nos dejastes!! Me hubiese gustado darte un gran abrazo, hasta siempre!!❤
Love this man
A little rusty but an absolute treasure.
"Oh tell me where, your freedom lies, the streets are fields that never die..." Thank you for your poet roses, Ray and Jim.
Was she dating Derek here ?
Thank you Ray. I missed out on seeing the Doors, I was 15 when Jim died. But, my late best friend and I used to go down to Hollywood every time Ray was playing a club. We lived in the LA area so it was easy to get to Hollyweird at thaty time. The last time I saw Ray perform was in a funky great club in a residential area in Sacramento, where I was living at the time. At the end of the concert, Ray played and sang 'Riders on the Storm'. Needless to say I was thrilled, it was the only time that I'd ever seen Ray play and sing a Doors song. Ray is the person that I've seen most of any rock act. I'm an old geezer at 66 now, but man I loved to hear Ray play. And he could play *anything* and do it well. I really miss him.
Maestro ! Lss teclas son para vos!
1:20 😮😮
Whoa this version just moved me to tears. You were absolutely brilliant Ray. RIP 🙏
Wow.... Senza fiato
"You don't make music for immortality, You make music for the moment, for capturing the sheer joy of being alive on planet Earth." -Ray Manzarek+🙏🏼
Exactly. And the brilliant way he did it made him immortal.
❤
I was lucky enough to have been there
One of my favorites songs of Jim Morrison, beautiful lirycs, pure poetry, thanks ,the doors forever, until I die.
I first saw Susan when she opened for Buddy Guy and B.B. King the summer of '99 out in Turlock, California. Granted, I was front row and center but her vocals were SO strong and powerful the massive PA system seemed useless. She was really tugging at my heart strings playing that green Telecaster with such emotion. Of course I been huge a fan ever since... Just gotta love her!!! 💖
Fantastic
Beautiful....
Hell yah. The new Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Best blues singer ever.
Close your eyes and listen to this, you get lost in it....beautiful
He must have felt so sad.
The Master at work.....Bravo
That’s me in the back ground stretching the guitar strings
This is absolutely incredible. Literally shed a tear listening to that. R.I.P Ray & Jim - gone but not forgotten 😢🙏
❤️
I loved every note played by Ray
Jims mystic words from another universe written while on high school for God sake and Rays haunting piano makes this one of the most beautifull and under rated love songs ever. Timeless !They were so Young, such a talent Thanks Ray & Jim rip ❤️🙏 greetings from the Netherlands everyone
My favorite! I love it.
Brilliant, brilliant Ray Manzarek!!
Long live master ray
Beautiful
Absolutely the best
Wow. Definitely deserved more than five claps...
For me Ray is an icon! His way how he executed the pieces was very intense! What a pity that I never saw him life!
How lucky was Jim Morrison to fall into this band?
I think some wiz tech kid could Mary this to the original song with Jims voice on an extended play song....it would be HUGE Tonawanda.....
Jim overshadowed these 3 other guys they were so stunningly talented in their own right......
MASTERPIECE
