I like how in 2019, the commentator mistook Nico Hulkenberg with Nico Rosberg
5:13:16.
The cars have gotten too big for the track, but the race will go on.
I want to do this with my kayak. Any idea how many miles from the mouth to the dam?
I was surprised that 1995 and 1998 were the years with the biggest noticeable difference in car size and that the monsters of the (then) current F1 rules was more of a gradual increase in size
It's like Monet's Water Lilies, but F1.
Look how easy it was to identify the different teams back in 2019. You can barely tell who's who these days because the csrs all run dark colours and similar paint schemes.
my favorite part when the commentator was Murray Walker, R.I.P
The most exciting thing was to watch the palm trees grow. Whatta boring track. I’m sure it’s fun to party there but the race is a snooze fest.
I watched it just because of the palm trees :/
The worlds most famous hairpin turn in all of motorsports the Lowes Hairpin
If they make the cars any longer they aren't gonna make the corner lol
poor palm tree
RIP the giant palm tree in the middle
Nico rosber....Nico Hülkenberg
There is a palm tree Chamareops humillis (on the island) which resisted from 1980 to 2012.
I miss it!
Why do I feel deja vu from cars 2
The second race in Cars 2 was inspired by Monaco.
Thanks, very nice job! Greedings from Slovakia!
Was there that day!!! Thats when we got our ears ripped open by the V10 scream... such an upgrade from Indy cars... We were right across from podium in Paddock. The sound of the cars leaving the pit gave us goosebumps that entire afternoon. such an aggressive sound and speed.
*"Senna bateu forte!"*
It feels surreal from hearing Senna to the era of Schumacher and eventually fading into Hamilton <3 Wholesome clip
In most years, there will be that one guy trying to overtake during the turn and terribly fail XD I learnt this the hard way in NFS 5 Porsche Unleashed :") Grand days
Hearing Schumacher's and Senna's name just made me feel so emotional
does that recovery crane ever move? between 2002 and 2019 it was in the exact same place lmaooo
This is beyond cool. There is a good chance that from the 20:18 mark on Im sitting behind you with my dad. Thanks for uploading this. This was my first F1 race and unfortunately my dad passed away the next year so this race race has always been special to me.
If you skip from 1979 to 2020 you can see how monaco is really becoming a hard track to race on, look at the size difference
Melco hairpin: Cute
Would you mind if I used a small clip of this video for an upcoming video of mine? I’m doing a mischief locations video and I’d love to use this as an opening. I’d give you full credit of course.
This must have been a really, really long race
"It's Senna leading..." Brought tear into my eye, not gonna lie.
Notice how senna is leading almost every time in the 80s
Look at how small the cars look compared to todays superboats
The cars are too big now.
Ah yes,the corner in F1 only pros can drive over 40 kmh.
2022: yuki tsunoda drift in hairpin
I knew cars were bigger nowadays. Now I realize how much bigger they are.
Why was my sound off last couple of minutes?
Heinz Prüller - what a legendary commentator
Bonus Tugs! Wasn't Robert Kraft arrested for that?
2017
It just feels melancholic to hear "Ayrton Senna's leading" and suddenly it stops
RIP
Looks like a dance
4:27 it's a bit odd to hear American accent in F1, though it's really refreshing
I believe now Formula E will use the full Monaco layout after all I can't wait to see them to enter the tunnel for the first time
I love my little city. Hate what its turned into
I know right
😔
What do u mean how is it now? I was planning to go next yr
@@gerrygizzygarcia2572 drug heads everywhere and it's disgustingly dirty
@@Zeze-qo3sd really dam sorry to hear that I member watching the movie mischief and wanting to go one day I still have it on my bucket list to go one day it seemed like a cool quiet town with history
The tree grows every second
I noticed immidiately that in old timey f1 they turn in extremely early and try and do the corner sort of symmetrically where as todays cars go deeper before turn in, probably partly because the cars wheel bases are so long but also because they will have a shot at a good exit and there is no need to cover the inside lane as noone can take the corner on the inside.
Thia video just shows the evolution of display and camera quality
Most boring track imo
Yeah you right
Nah Catalunya is worse
2016
@@categoriaxbox2396 you were saying?
U know that you love the F1 if you watched the entire video
