Is Arabic coffee also called Gahwa?
Yes... Both are same
@binaskamal ok tnx bro
What material is stuck into the spout of the dallah and why?
I think to filter out the added coarse spices (cardamom, cloves).
Traditional way of straining I assume
it a filter for the solid bts, made of palm fiber

I thought Arabic Qahwa was supposed to be made from Green Coffee (unroasted coffee beans) and cardamom. Roasting the coffee changes the flavor profile and color of the beverage. I'm curious if Qahwa is made in multiple ways or if there is one preferred way of making it.
Actually arabic coffee is always roasted, but the roasting can vary from light to dark
@@yql1019 Thank you for dropping that knowledge. :)
No, most Gulf Arabs like their coffee light roasted.

The part from (0:14 - 0:40) cut from an old video under the title "#QTip: How to make Arabic coffee (gahwa) the traditional Qatari way!" ua-cam.com/video/dDypjDx3pVs/v-deo.html
You are right! The students who made it didn't mention that. I will put a link to that video in the description. Thank you.
