THIS THING MOVES OUT 🚀 BUT WE HAD ONE SMALL ISSUE 👀
On automatics if you hold the gas pedal to the floor and try to start it it does the same thing
My brother spent thousands trying to get rid of that tick. You will probably never get rid of it. The intake manifold on these engines has vacuum operated flaps inside of it. Most of the time, that ticking is just a tiny bit of play in the linkage that operates those flaps. It's not going to hurt anything. Just turn the volume up. That's the most cost-effective way to fix it.😆
I have them disconnected since I have imrc delete so they hold open at all times
where's the grenade pin?
Got stuck to my foot 😅
Yeah awesome trans cooler bro! This is the kind of build I would love to have one day. Street able drag n drive S197 with an LS platform in it. Do you think if you had a GearVender you could lower your gear ratio and still have greater fuel efficiency? They are a little pricey but those Street Outlaws sure do love them. Hope to see some POV of you cruising around too. I been following your channel since you picked up this car and you sure came along ways!! Also life events will always come first and videos later, just a way of saying we are human, lol.
NO, No,no,no,no 😢
It happens 😅
Why you never show videos of you driving lol you know what we wanna see 😅
There clips and short of that on here and insta
That’s super crazy how much damage it caused. Hopefully it does run again in a week
Already got the short block just about done 👏🏽
Oh man🤦♂️rip
It happens man 🥲
😢
What is that song called 🤔
Honestly I don’t remember lol
"Might've Sent it a Lil too hard Johnny" Houston We Have A Problem" The Come back Is Going to be Tuff 🖤
Hell yeah 💪🏽
Damn that sucks. How much power were you pushing?
700s
So the issue is the owner you switched to a thicker oil it doesn't need a thicker oil put what it calls for and change it more often
No owner issue It calls for 5w20 there is no issue using 5w30 when it gets hot here it’s better for the engine then the watered down 5w20 and also when boosted s550 use 5w50 there is no issue and even those car can have a tick
you just ruined the car putting a dam gm motor in a ford car - should have went with the coyote motor-sick of hearing about a dam ls motor so over rated
Well Ive already had a gen 1 coyote and I have a gen 2 coyote currently so I have no need for another 🤷🏽♂️ Ls was way more fun imo
Have anyone seen metal shavings in there oil?
Nope
tip number one don't buy a ford
Ehh Chevy got trans issues dodge trans and wiring issues it’s a win lose on all sides 😂
I hi hope to start my build one day but I am broke as fook, so I don’t see it ever happening
U got this great things take time keep grinding 💪🏽
@@Zaysnipes thank you sir so much!
Keep going 💪🏽
Def a dream car !
Got a 2013 s197 guessing this way won't work?
Chassis the same 05-14
Diesel oil 10w-30 does the trick too.
what fuel rail and regulator are you using?
Stock LS fuel rail and Amazon fuel pressure reg
@@Zaysnipes thanks. im gonna need returnless rails for my 2001 lm7 i think
U can run a return style rail and use a push lock adaptor fitting on the return on the rail to make it an 8an then just put and 8an cap that’s how mine is currently
@@Zaysnipes wow, didnt know that, do you have any videos referencing it? and would i need a regulator with it
so you dont need any aftermarket ecu for this? wiring harness just works?
U can use the Ls swap standalone harness around 60$ with a stock LS Ecu or i highly recommend going Holley terminator x
@@Zaysnipes Which one would be the most cost effective? Im guessing the holley since it seems there are things i need to change in the ecu that i have no clue how to
The Holley will get u farther but has a price tag and a lot more intense wiring depending on setup the Ls swap standalone harness is under 100$ and u can get pretty far with the stock Ecu with a good tuner aswell the main thing is to decide what u want to do with your build
@@Zaysnipes in that case i will stick with stock, your car is cool as hell btw another question (if you know the answer), do you think the v6 7.5" rear end can handle a relatively stock 5.3 vortec, or am i better off upgrading to the 8.8" for security and the lsd
Thanks and the 7.5 can hold some power but not to much u definitely should look into an 8.8 upgrade
Nice video. I just picked up a pretty clean 05 GT roller for $1k that had previously been LS swapped. It still has the AJE LS swap crossmember. No mounts though. Also has a mount for a TH400. I have several LS engines as well as a TH400 with a stall. I followed your links for parts but some aren’t good anymore. Would it be possible to update the broken links?
Awesome to hear and nice steal and yeah I’ll go over theses link and get them all updated to the parts I run as of today 👌🏽
I like automatic
What did you do about the BCM(body control module)? I'm doing the exact same thing you are except I won't care about using the speedometer air conditioning or radio. How did you get all the sensors to work and take care of the VATS?
Bcm stuff just leave the factory fuse box and ecu plugged in and powered up I relocated mine down behind passenger headlight for stock Ls Ecu u need to it tuned to turn vats off or I highly recommend a Holley terminator x system
@@ZaysnipesI will have a complete engine harness, fuse box and ECU from a donor truck. I'm trying to do this as budget as possible for now, so instead of the Holley, should I have VATS turned off before pulling out the s197 ecu/bcm?
The s197 Ecu and the LS Ecu have nothing to do with each other now u will only need to get the vats removed on the LS Ecu the ford stuff u just leave it no since u are going stock LS Ecu I recommend getting a standalone LS swap harness it will have all the wiring deleted u don’t need and will have everything labeled for easy wiring I had that setup before my Holley with no issues
I wanna do this, but unfortunately i'm not only broke, but also disabled lol. I do like driving my 4.0 v6 2007 'stang though still. Just wish it had that good ol muscle car grunt.
Don’t doubt the little 4.0 I went 12.80s with mine factory sealed motor and trans on nitrous and still had more in it 💪🏽
Dude sweet
My 5.0 truck has 240xxc miles and ticks so bad it sounds like a diesel at idle. 😅 acts like a pup though!
Big question for me is and im doing a 408 w in my roush 05 manual what all does the body module control windows still work anything need to be concerned with also wont be needing airbags and some other crap but yeah and no one is really telling me what will happen
All factory accessories will work like stock as long as u keep the factory computer and fuse box powered up
@Zaysnipes by computer you mean the engine ecu too
Yes the engine Ecu has to be plugged in for the factory system to work and the factory fuse box as well
