Nice! What is you wrist size?

The submariner actually sit on the wrist more true to size, that what I feel for me,as someone who owns the bb41. The ending statement is so true though , if you want the Rolex in the first place, no Tudor will ever satisfy, sold my bb41 , while I wait for the Rolex and meanwhile got the santos de Cartier to fill the void in my watch collection

The dial cannot be extended out to the bezel. That metal ring (with Ringlock Systrm written on it) isn’t there for decoration. It is a buttress for the crystal and caseback that allows the watch to withstand 1200 atmospheres of pressure. The regular Deepsea uses the same design, but as it’s only rated to 390 atmospheres, the ring is much thinner.

The original GMT forgetting about the thickness, looks way better proportionally than the BB58 GMT. Plus the non coloured GMT hand on the BB58 is a huge miss IMO. If Tudor had copied the BB GMT colours and hands exactly, the BB58 version would be perfect.

That is crazy, I bought my sub date in 2004 in the Bahamas for about 5k US. The wife and I just walked in off the street wearing our swim suits and started browsing over the Rolex watches, the sales person that was assisting us couldn't slap watches on my wrist fast enough, I ended up picking the Sub Mariner Date. The whole process took about an hour and I walked out of the store wearing my new watch. I can't believe you guys go through all of this just for a watch.

Which one felt bigger on your wrist? It seems the Tudor looks more like a 37 with the wider face dial. With the Rolex having more constrained dial but of course with more thickness due to the flutter dial.

Trying to decide if I should trade my Rolex Explorer 39mm and TudorBB burgundy metas for a Rolex Sub40mm date or 41mm sub no date. What do you think? Always wanted a sub.

I did contemplated on the 58 gmt as a couple watch to pair up wif my old bb gmt black dial when it announced, but I reckoned my wife would rather I better spend it on bags for her 😅.. it’s nice to see ur wife being supportive of ur collection endeavor, alittle envy infact 😄.. jus curious have she tried on 58 gmt herself? Wonder how it rocks on a 130mm wrist?

The movement in the previous blackbay is the same as the new one, only now they go the extra length to get them metas certified.

I’d take the BB as long as it had either pencil hands or the Mercedes hand. Love how there’s no crown guard. Black is beautiful. 😊
