I agree that marriage takes work and both partners have to put in the effort. But there are situations in which a person staying is a weak person. An example coming to mind is the person who tolerates repetitive infidelity and gets mad at the affair partners and blames them.

What if you have spoken up about physical intimacy. Over and over and over. 20 years of him not keeping his vows of loving me physically and many times emotionally. It has lowered my self esteem. Well last year I stepped out of my marriage looking for what I was not getting. We both have a lot of resentment. It been 13 months for me going through depression and crying and crying and a lot of anxiety about the future. My husband is an “ Avoidant” so he listens through fiilters and he think I control. So many people don’t know about Intimacy anorexia and my husband has that. They neglect their spouse spiritually, emotionally, physically and sexually. Everyone thinks that wives don’t want intimacy and sex and men and husband want it all the time. Not true for many many men. It has eroded the loyalty and love. Have you ever had a couple where the husband withheld sexually intimacy. This is a very painful topic just like Porn. They are both addictions but intimacy anorexia they are addicted to themselves and their addiction to keep themselves “ safe” by pushing and pushing their spouse away. As a wife I begged and pleaded and be appeased me but never made a change. We are at a cross roads after me stepping out last year. Like I said 13 months. So much resentment between us. I fee guilt and Shame, but also feel anger that I was not loved and I stayed and stayed when I would break down and want to leave. Because he said he would change. We are in therapy now but we really need a miracle. Adultery is wrong but so I lying and manipulating your spouse and giving them bread crumbs. I feel so beaten down by the enemy because it has tied him for years and he has no freedom in his mind or body. Please let me know if you have had a case like this? God help, please give us a miracle of forgiveness and supernatural love between us. We both have betrayal trauma.

yes! The question should not be "What are valid grounds for divorce?" but "How can I avoid thinking divorce is an option?"

My husband recently told me that if our situation was flipped, and I was the one who had been unfaithful, that he would walk out. He said he wouldn’t give me a second chance. We were cracked in the beginning of our marriage. I got pregnant and we got married. But after my son was born 7 months later. I thought we are finally going enjoy emotional love and sexual Love and intimacy. I had this enormous love and hope for us as a family. My husband has Intimacy anorexia- yes it’s a real thing, check out Dr. Doug Weiss. 20 years of being starved for love. It basically you are neglected, spiritually, emotionally, physically and sexually. I crossed the line last year. I was like a plant guy had not been water in 20 years. Wives need more than a husband paying rent and paying bills. Hiss love was work then our two kids.. I was never first. We are in a really challenging place. I need hope. We both need hope. He thinks we done. He has arrogance and pride but he hides it from everyone but me. I can see through him. I asked soooooooo many times during the 20 years please let’s go to therapy, let’s see a sex therapist. He never committed to any therapy. I felt so alone all the time. Just I felt like a roommate. He says has he has betrayal trauma well I have betrayal trauma so many years of him lying and appeasing me but never following through. I stayed because I always wanted a family because I loved him not in love but slowly even the love started to fade. He says he can’t trust me and he thinks it’s over. We have a therapist finally but my husband says we are too broken he doesn’t know if he change and he he said “ I am not making any promises to you”. I feel like he is a coward. Where is his warrior? God please tear down his walls. Please lord let him see and open his heart open there’s of his heart lord. I just don’t understand his “ avoidant“ attachment. I don’t want to be bitter please, please heal me. Please God heal the wounds in my heart and in my mind. There so much trauma, my childhood trauma and his childhood trauma. Lord I wish my husband would cry. I have cried and cried for the last 13 months everyday multiple times as day. I have been going to depresión and anxiety. I have so much fear of abandonment. I am still trying to forgive myself. He is still tying to forgive me. When you neglect your wife and you give her love like a healthy man it’s literally breaks you down and your self esteem goes way way down. I just feel like he can’t see the damage he has and how painful this has been. Lord help him see and give him strength to fight for our marriage. Lord if it is your will start opening the road for us guide us. Heal my husband’s mind and heart. Help him come to you. Please reconcile us and give us supernatural love between and around us. Amen. God you are the miracle worker.

Marriages can survive after an affair as long as the stupid suffering spouse can let their loser spouse back in their lives

I'm going through hard time dealing that my wife wants to divorce and i don't find it easy. Everyday i pray that God will remove that stony heart. I know I'm guilty that my romance has died and she also said that I'm weak she needs a strong man. Its like I'm in the dark I've got two children with her also.

Hey, not all of us believe in the same thing. Stop treating other people like they need to be vetted simply because your religious beliefs aren't the same. You have a hateful mindset.

PleasE lord heal me. Please lord heal my husband’s heart. Heal Elkin’s Heart. Lord forgive all our sins. We have hurt each other so much. Heal my marriage. Please give us supernatural love between us help us lord to fall in love with each other again now. Please Lord put tenderness in our hearts now. Lord Jesus, you are the king of kings. You make all miracles happen, Lord. you are above all things! You’re above all evil destroy the enemy that is trying to keep me down, but depression and anxiety are haunting me. Please take away the fear of abandonment all fears all worry all doubt. Please Lord melt my husband’s heart of Stone and take away his pride and his ego Lord help him see the way. Lord I beg of you I’m on my knees. Please put new love , passionate love as a couple, love couples passion in my marriage with my husband, Elkin.. lord put forgiveness in my heart for all the 20 years I have been neglected by my husband, emotionally, physically and sexually. Lord remove the walls and obstacles around my husband that prevents him from experiencing true connection, intimacy and true passion with me. Lord please hear me! Lord remove the darkness and all boulders that crush our spirits! I call upon you Jesus. Put love in my heart and Elkin’s heart so we can have a pure, passionate, true love between us . Refresh us with your Holy Spirit, clean us with your waters in your precious blood . Cleanse us, Lord. Amen amen. Amen.

Instead of praying, maybe y'all should be going to couples therapy...... y'all actually need to talk things out with a professional instead of "praying" it away. Get some help before your god gives you a divorce.

Could please please Do a talk on how much betrayal you feel when your spouse neglects you, Spiritually, emotionally, Physically and sexually. It’s literally starvation. He chose work over me and lied continuously about wanting to get help. Th avoidant and dismissive behavior kills marriages and ye aug led me to infidelity AKA agreed open marriage. He didn’t have the courage rii ok hi with me to counseling and kept putting his head in sand refusing to go to therapy. That is also betrayal. Needing to be lives in marriage and not pursuing your wife’s heart. I need 🙏🏽I need prayers I need restoration and reformation of our marriage. I am in my knees. Can my marriage be saved. 20 years of living with a man who loves work more than his wife. Loving her mother more than his wife. Help me sometimes I feel like his 12 year old self is running the show. Now he has a therapist for himself for himself. We need mentors. I am in Los Angeles( Sylmar to be exact) I need help.

How can I heal from emotional neglect and sexual neglect from my husband. How do we heal? How does he heal? How do I heal? How does my husband heal from the lack of sexuality. He has to have trauma of not wanting to be sexual and he is am “ Avoidant” and I have anxious attachment and serious abandonment issues. This is real. and Yes I have been unfaithful. we agreed to an open relationship because he would not do the therapy and didn’t want to see the best sex therapist , we had already met. So much resistance on his part. I have asked so many many times please I need your heart and I need your touch . He appeased me and lied and lied and lied. I would wait patiently and the explode or implode with depression many times. l only did meet another man because I was deprived of love and affection. Help me. Please Pray for our healing I want us to make a new marriage and for God to our love into our hearts. But I fear my marriage may be over. The connection is missing and we have no attraction towards each other. We need to heal. I don’t want feel guilty anymore. Please remove the shame and guilt. Please lord have grace. Give me peace. And please lead my husband into wanting to work on the marriage. Jesus please hear me. 20 years of ups and major downs.

This was my husband that I’m still having a hard time accepting that God allowed him to not make it thru after he overdosed and lived for a good 24 hours. I wanted to blame the ER personnel etc but ultimately God was with the whole situation . The last video I sent was your video on Help in infidelity , betrayal and cheating . He sent me a text and was very remorseful this time. Unfortunately, he can’t prove now how remorseful he was by his actions. Idk why God chose for him to not live . It’s so sad that he is not here but I’m glad he is with Jesus now and away from temptation , sin and not living in sin and mental illness.
