Decades ago when our waters were more plentiful, a family took me squid fishing on the pier in Monterey, California. They shone a light on the water just like you are doing. The water would turn light gray from all the squid. We had a long line of large shiny silver hooks and would jiggle up and down and catch several of them each time. Ink would squirt all over. It was so much fun. Thank you so much for this video. That was one of my all time best fishing memories. I have not fished in many years. Maybe I’ll come up and try next year. Thank you for sharing information with people too. I watch lots of fishing videos but they keep their location top secret even when they are out in the ocean.
