Hello! What kind of tape is that ?
@@criscristina3952 it’s parafilm hope that helps. 😁
Hi they would be fine for 24 hours out of water provided you keep them somewhere cool and out of sunlight. Hope that helps
How long will that chrysanthemum stay viable?
Tbank you❤
@@swtpaige1004 you’re so welcome I hope it was helpful
Thank you so much for this - its so hard to find examples of sustainable techniques. I really didn't want to use glue for corsages and flower crowns and the three videos were perfect - corsage, flower crown, buttonhole. Excellent demos, easy to follow. 🙂
Ah you are so welcome, I'm so glad they are of help and that you;ve been able to design a whole suite of wedding accessories with them. Thanks for taking the time to feedback, its most appreciated. Tx
Excellent, clear instructions and lovely corsage. Thank you.
Ah thank you so much that's really lovely of you, I'm so glad I could be of help
What type wire are you using how many gaug
@@kalabenpatel1241 I’ve given instructions and a list of all materials you’ll need in the video. You’ll need a .90 or .71 doubled up. I use metric measurements, there’s a conversion table on line if you google and need imperial measurements- hope that helps
How to make Gypsy flower (baby bread) Garland ?
@@kalabenpatel1241 it’s the same principle, you just need to use little bunches and of baby’s breath instead of different flowers - hope that helps
Perfect! Thanks!
you are most welcome so glad you found my video helpful Tracey 😊

Mam ,we use masking tape for this work
Thank you for your comment, that’s very interesting, I’ve never come across that before. As a floristry teacher in the UK I’ve always used Parafilm floristry tape for my own work and to teach my students too as it produces very fine, flexible and strong results. Tracey
@@CampbellsFlowers love u mam,u r so nice,thanks 4 answering me
Lovely tutorial , Thank you.

Absolutely gorgeous ❤
That's so kind of you, I'm planning to share lots more very soon! Tx
Beautiful! 😍
Thank you! 😊
Of all the videos, yours had the most detail. Thank you for the close up. Helped alot!!
Thank you so much for your comment Milly, I'm so glad you found it helpful, I just know from using UA-cam videos myself, how frustrating it can be when you think its going to be helpful but then they whizz through everything and you have to keep pausing constantly! I do hope you are happy with your design. Tracey ❤
Great, it look like more simple!
So glad you like it and that it works for you
I simply loved it! Do you use tape instead of wire? Thank you very much for sharing such beautiful work
ah, thank you so much. So, I usually wire each piece and then tape, but when I made this video, I wanted to keep the method as simple as possible so that it appeals and is achievable to either someone with no floristry skills or someone who hasn't much time! I hope that helps Tracey x
That’s beautiful, and what was the wire gauge again please? Xx
It was a .90 guage wire - which I believe is .036 in imperial, hope that helps
Very beautiful! Thanks
You are most welcome ❤

Apologies, I don't speak Spanish, but I do speak a little French - we can find a common language maybe? 😊 Disculpe, no hablo español, pero hablo un poco de francés. ¿Podemos encontrar un idioma común tal vez? (Thank you Google translate!)
your voice is so soothing!
Why thank you. I’m pretty sure my girls wouldn’t have said that when they were teens! 😁

Amazing wiring techniques Tracey! Thank you for inspiring me to advance my Floristry skills!

Thank you! No one talks about this 😅
You’re most welcome!
Thank you very much, you saved my marriage 😁😇🤪🙈
Oh my goodness I’m so happy to have helped! ❤️
Can anyone help me find the floral wire being used? I can’t seem to locate that gauge.
It’s readily available from UK floristry suppliers but you may need to convert it to metric/imperial depending on where you are in the world. Hope that helps Tracey
@@CampbellsFlowers I’m in the states so it’s probably a conversion issue. Thank you!
Beautiful!! You made this look so simple! Thank you for posting this video, I really appreciate it.
Ah, its just practice really, I’ve been a florist for quite a few years now but I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I’m planning a whole new series over the winter so more coming in the Spring. Tracey
Hermosa ! Gracias por compartir 😃
Eres muy bienvenida. Gracias por sus amables palabras ❤
Fabulous
Thank you so much ❤️
Thank you for this very helpful tutorial
You’re most welcome, glad it was of help
Is there no need to wire the stems individually before you assemble them together? I much prefer seeing the natural stems poking out the bottom, but just wondering whether this design will have the longevity of a wired design?
So this is a super quick way, which is useful if you want to make well ahead as the stems can be placed in a small container like a jam jar to keep fresh. If you have a look on my channel you’ll find that I also demonstrate how to create a wired design too which of course does give you greater flexibility in your placement. Hope that helps
Hello What size wire are you using?
It very much depends on the weight of material you are working with, different flowers and foliage require stronger or lighter wires. Always use the lightest possible wire. You might want to run through the video again as I definitely cover this - hope that helps.
Great video, thanks!
You're most welcome, so glad you enjoyed it. All the very best Tracey
Is it possible to buy a wristlet that won’t fit on the wrist? I mean like too big for the woman’s wrist or too small for the woman’s wrist?
You can buy wrist bands or wristlets particularly in the US where they are very popular. They make a type of wrist cuff which can be shaped tofit. The wristlets tend to be constructed using elastic so they have quite a bit of give in them, but they reason I use ribbon is that it is much more flexible. With ribbon your can make it really tiny or longer and larger to suit the person wearing it. Hope this helps, thanks so much for watching. Tracey
This was soo helpful! Thank you. My wedding is next year and Ill definitly be making these flower crowns🌼
Hurrah! So glad you loved it. Do subscribe as I’ve got lots of ideas for new content coming up soon.
How long would something like this last before wilting? Can it be made the night before or is it best to make it the day of?
I would say if you’re not a professional then you would be best to make early on the day and keep in damp tissue. Flower choice is really important in terms of the design lasting so stick with what I used if you can! Hope this helps, good luck!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! so helpful information ;)
So glad you liked it
Hi there, what a wonderfull video! I was wondering if it would be possible to make it way ahead of time and let the flowers dry out in a dark room or will it become too fragile? I am considering to use lavender or heather. (I live in Scandinavia) Lots of love to you ❤️
Hello karoline and thank you so much for your lovely kind words. So I would recommend that you dry the lavender and heather first, before you make the flower crown. The reason is that if you use fresh flowers to create the design and then dry them, the stems will dehydrate which makes them much thinner and no longer secure. You will find that as they dry out, the bindings will move and no longer be secure as you originally worked with stems which were much plumper as they were full of water. I hope this makes sense, if you need any further help, do let me know. And I'd absolutely love to see what you make too, so send me photographs if you can! Tracey x
@@CampbellsFlowers Thank you so much for replying! It makes so much sense, I didn't even consider that. I will have to give it a go! 🤯
Thank you for the video. How long does this last without putting it in water? Do I refrigerate? Thanks.
I would usually make on the morning I was going to wear it - I usually get up super early on the day of a wedding and make wrist corsages a couple of hours beforehand. No, I never put flowers in a fridge as many blooms dislike cold temperatures. My advise would be to make sure you practice a couple of times beforehand to make sure you know how long it will take you. Good luck!
Loved the tutorial... Will be making one next week💃
Amazing! I’m so glad, be sure to send some pictures too, I’d absolutely love to see how you get on ❤️❤️❤️
This is beautiful! I thought I was the only one that walked through my field and picked queen Anne lace and seeded grasses to make arrangements.
Thank you for taking time to leave a comment and lovely to know there are kindred spirits all over the world! ❤️
This flower crown is very pretty
Thanks so much hope you enjoyed our video
I did hope you have a good day or night
Wonderful video! What kind of tape do you use?
I use parafilm as that’s what we used at college when I was taught hundreds of years ago! I know some prefer Stemtex but I find it too bulky and it doesn’t get such a nice fine finish as Parafilm (although tbf parafilm is a bit more difficult to use!). I think it’s personal choice and find what you’re taught with! Hope that helps Tracey x
Are these real flowers? Looking to make this for the base of my sister’s graduation cap
Yes Joe they are real, I talk through which flowers I’ve used and why I selected them in my video, hope that helps. Tracey
I like your video a lot! I was wondering for how long the flowers will stay pretty since they wont be in contact with water. Could I make it a day in advance?
Hello, yes you can make the afternoon before, best to leave somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight. Its always a good idea to place some damp kitchen roll onto a plate and then add your design, give it a little light misting with water and then add some more damp kitchen roll gently on top. I would suggest you have a practice in advance and then make sure you use exactly the same flowers - that way you'll know whether they all stay nice and fresh or not. Hope that helps Tracey
@@CampbellsFlowers thank you! :)
