Homemade deer trip alarm has them doing some crazy things.
Our trip alarm has been so successful that it has allowed us to remove our two dimensional fence making it alot easier for equipment access. The remaining fence is for raccoons who were decimating our field. It has been very successful in keeping them out at only 12 inches high. This time around it doubled as a deer reminder that this field is not a great place for them to visit.

We give a short tutorial on how to get your trimmer at least running and then go through the steps to get it to run like a Ferrari ! Also, one additional tip: if your engine hesitates when opening the throttle and then catches, open the idle jet screw a quarter of a turn and that should solve that issue.

The flywheel cover is not flat so even a center guided bit will want to wander somewhat. Take your time with it and when finished, use a rat tail file to ease the edges to prevent damage to the plug.

Rubio recommends two coats with a sanding in between on Walnut. You will be pleased with the results.

Circle chord work using trig and the Pythagorean Formula. First we check for an ez answer by looking to see if our given triangle might be a 30/60/90 right triangle. It is not, so now we go to trig by using the inverse tangent of our triangle to solve for the angle that makes up the central angle of 1/2 of the larger central angle...piece of cake!!

We replace all the consumable clutch discs to eliminate a knocking noise with clutch disengaged. However, this noise went away engaging the clutch in neutral. These may very well be the original clutch plates or more likely, the second set. Your not quite right. The pump would be still be positive pressured if it was from the top to some degree because the pump is lower then the water hight so once it started siphoning it wouldn’t be that much different
I would agree, once of course that siphoning had began.
Is it known that the output of the water pump from 1 inch should be converted to one and a half inch 1/2 the input will remain at 1 inch, it is thought that it will work normally without a problem. thanks
will this pump move water from a tank about 3 feet tall to a grove of trees about 300 ft away with a slight up grade in slope?
Honda specs quote this pump at 120 ft of head. At 120' of total head, it can deliver 1gpm. Since your total head would be far less than that, yes it could move water that far. However, Honda does not include in its specs the gpm rate at that distance. Personally, I would not buy this pump for moving water that far. The laminar and turbulent friction loss through a hose that long will be considerable.
I got exactly the same set up you have: 300 feet of garden hose with a light slope uphill. I have been watering my garden with this honda pump for 3-4 years. Not a lot of pressure but enough to water my 50 by 50 veggie garden in a short time. Of course: forget about adding a sprinkler.
Gas Ferraris are old tech. Replace the engine with an electric motor and never worry about tuning again.

I really love your setup. I’ve got an older 8 hp little wonder and I like how you too into account how the machine will move compared to the mower. And my zero turn already has a ball on it. I think I’ll try to make a setup like yours
