Honestly this is probably the most comic accurate Penguin since Burgess Meredith, he's cunning and intelligent as Batman has claimed in Penguin Triumphant and he is also incredibly insecure and wears weird clothes. I loved Gotham for the Joker but never really cared for this Penguin until now. It took all these years. I always thought his arc was brilliant and stuff but never TRULY understood and appreciated how much better he was in season 1 than after. As in I never watched one oft these videos. Maybe part of it has to do with the fact he's no longer popular and the new Penguin is out. He feels like he's from a mob show. Season 1 was great. But the way he backstabs everyone and has no integrity is a little annoying. Idk If it's comic accurate or not (pain and prejudice may disagree it's accurate but other stories may contradict that) He's so ruthless it's hard to like him.

I like him the most when he is smiling. I so wish he could just be happy
