This movie really impacted me. The ending scene when Ruben is sitting down just listening. The way he hears things. It is a great visual and audio to demonstrate how I hear certain sounds. Due to a medical condition and the side effects of medications that affect my hearing and focus. The first time I watched this movie with my mom and we watched the ending of the movie, I told her “this is how I hear things”. She was amazed “I had no Idea.” I felt so relieved and grateful that she finally understood me. How and why I get stressed in certain situations. Those 2 minutes were a game changer for me.

Waterloo 1970 did a far better job. Joaquin phoenix is great actor but the director of this movie is an absolute moron. When I first saw Napoleon was coming out I was stoked. A movie about my favorite historical figure?! No way, but it was too good to be true, i didn’t need a fucking to the tee documentary but holy hell this movie was so inaccurate it’s insane. Almost zero mentions of the marshals of France or the old guard, Napoleon is a horny man baby, and more. It truly saddens me this is what we got
