    Correct. I had one team that was undefeated all year long. Lost in the 2nd Round by 2 points because Aubry put up a zero vs Philly and the other guy had a career performance from Amon Ra, I think. My zero RB (auction) strategy of investing in top WR'S worked until Tua got hurt and CD fell off badly. Another team lost yesterday because Jefferson and Addison did nothing. Montgomery and Connor were cheap staples in that strategy. I do not think that any of the people that spent big on Henry, Saquon, or Hall won in any of my leagues. So, be smart, pay attention, and be lucky- Like life in general.

    I want to say thank you for your advice. I played 2 leagues this year, one how I normally draft and another mixing your advice (mainly the Vegas betting which was overlooked) along with the things I was doing right and unlearning what I was getting wrong. In the league that I drafted according to my old philosophy, I finished 6-8 and missed the playoffs. In the league mixing your advise plus my own, I finished 9-6 and won the championship (18 weeks but would have won even in a 17 week league). Thank you very much for your help! It was enlightening and I look forward to improving on it with minor tweaks to fit my needs in both leagues.

    I keep looking around for solid draft advice, and this video just seems to be the most real to me. I would like to suggest that you should definitely do more fantasy content. Im interested in your opinion on how I should attack my draft at slot 6 in a 12 man half ppr league. @@BillsMafia1714_ thanks for the nice comment. I think I’m going to lean more into Vegas this year than years past looking at season odds. 6 is a great pick. I’d be most concerned with 1,2,3. I’ll say generally, before doing any research myself, that the last few years I’ve waited til the fifth round to get my first ‘ok’ RB, and both turned out to be fantastic (Jacobs in 2022, and Pacheco in 2023), but that’s when people always took RBs early and there were good one available after everyone had drafted their 2. If that changes and people go WR this year like they did RBs last year, I’ll probably do the opposite and take a guy like Taylor later than he should go. I do draft a lot by what I mentioned in the video: would I be scared to play this guy? If yes, I’ll take him. If meh, I’ll pass.

    This was a very informative video. Thank you! Where to stay? There are many smaller towns in the area. North Augusta in South Carolina is very quaint and a throwback to the early/mid 20th century. Evans, Martinez, and Grovetown are suburbs in neighboring Columbia County (I have family who live there). Thomson is just a 25-minute drive down I-20. Aiken, SC is also nice and somewhat nearby. A little further out you have Wrens, Waynesboro, Hephzibah, and Harlem. Those are very small towns and I probably don't recommend most of those places. Parking: Go to the River Golf Course in North Augusta just over the Savannah River. Get there at 7am when they open. Practice a little bit of putting. Call an Uber or Lyft. Have them drop you off at Augusta National. It's a very short 15-minute drive. Park at one of the hospitals in the medical district in downtown Augusta. Again, a very short uber/Lyft drive. Park at TopGolf right off of Riverwatch Parkway and I-20. That's really close to the course. you can almost walk from there if you are up for a short 2-mile hike.

    Great video Scott! For many years I've sold lemonade using "the stand" method where I own a lemonade stand and people come to buy lemonade. I've made a good living on my front lawn after school and on the weekends, but let's be honest, there is no real money in owning a lemonade stand. I could have massive growth, but my problem is there is not enough margin in the lemonade sale to hire mid-level management to expand my business. The lemonade business is problematic because if it was like other businesses with a normal profit margin, I'd be charging each customer $80,000 instead of the $50,000 I charge now for a cup of lemonade. I'd sure like to help a lot more thirsty people though. I hear things at my lemonade stand like "Your lemonade gave us our sister back," and "You and your lemonade saved my son's life," so I keep trying to find a solution to what many would say was getting into the wrong business in the first place. 🍋

    Thanks for sharing your experience. I just booked a package deal with Roadtrips. One practice round (Tuesday) and one tournament day (Thursday). Fulfilling a bucket list desire. Will be my first time at the tournament, although I have been to Augusta a couple of times in the past and viewed the course from Washington Ave. I'll be flying in from Southern CA so your suggestion to fly to Columbia SC is helpful. It was suggested by someone to me that you should hit the souvenir shop later in the day. I have paid a lot of money to do this and my biggest fear is that the weather won't cooperate and the day I have tickets for gets rained out. Did you have that fear. And, I too enter the Masters lottery each year but have yet to win. Congrats.

    • @ScottLevyYT
      @ScottLevyYT 9 місяців тому

      Where are you staying? If the package includes getting you to the gates, then it won’t matter too much what time you go for parking. For entrance/souvenirs, people start lining up to get in at like 5am, but based on other comments, it sounds like if you’re there by 6 or even 7 you’re in a good spot to wait less once gates open. We couldn’t do that because we stayed in Atlanta and there was no way to make that drive very early and not have it impact our day. However, if you get there really early, then I’d hit the souvenir shop first, even if there’s a line. The south souvenir shop is better all times of the day, which you access off of hole 3/4/5. You can ask attendees when you’re by those holes where it is if you can’t find it. Otherwise, I wouldn’t worry too much about the weather. It rained thursday so the round didn’t finish, and from what I gathered, the Thursday ticket holders came back first thing Friday to finish the round and then left. That’s based on one story though, so maybe other people can confirm that, at least for the tournament, you get to see your round no matter what day
