We Indians add cardamom, black pepper, ginger, cloves, cinnamon to usual tea and milk But we do mix match those ingredients in just plain hot water and boil it . Then bring down the temperature to warm, as honey and drink it . More PC’s in making this tea.

I would have personally forgone the milk in the pot and frothed that separate from the main concoction to make a better contrast between the rooibos and the milk, but I get the rationale here. Rooibos isn't super strong in the first place and probably wouldn't make _that much_ of a contrast anyway. so making this horchata-esque drink is probably the best course of action.

I went to an Etheopian restaurant and they made this Tea and the flavor was in the water used with a regular Tea Bag. I've been trying to replicate at home...let's see how it comes out. Cardimum is a very strong herb... 4 seeds seems right... Will see if I need to add some more. 😊
