Absolutely beautiful.
So happy I found you.
you are a great teacher.. my only suggestion is you should show the completed painting at the beginning or at the end.. ty
So so beautiful. I get it now about the file. Thank you
Did you use masking fluid on stems prior to panting?? Thank you
Just beautiful and amazing.
Your work is gorgeous, you are a phenomenal teacher and you have very lovely energy! Thank you!
This is great! Thank you!
This is so beautiful! Thank you for explaining what you’re doing and why. I believe I now have a better idea of why paint consistency is described as “skim milk “ versus “cream “ …. It’s about value, right? The darks, lights and mid tones.
Cool! I love how the wet in wet looks!
Beautiful and great instruction
Thank you. I would love to see your paintings 😊
I love your painting and the soft colors. I will try a smaller version of this soon. I really like your bird, too. I would love a bird tutorial video if you want to post that sometime.
I painted your wonderful tutorial and I love the results. You described how to paint the middle medallion of your purple ornament very well and mine looks good too. Thanks so much. I will be watching g and hoping for more tutorials.
Beautiful. I’m going to try this one I think. And I’m subscribing. The only thing is I wish that your tutorial would go into more detail on what I think is the hardest part of the painting. The main feature ornament with that center of radiating colors I don’t know how to do that. And how do you actually do the shape of thar ornament? It truly is a beautiful painting. Thanks for posting. I’ll be watchingfor your posts.
Thanks for your comment and subscription! I hope I can answer your question for the center of the ornament. I used the wet on wet technique, painting clean water only in the center circle of the ornament. i then dropped in colors and let them blend into the water. I used the same purple and blue that was in the ornament. Let it dry completely, i then used Dr. PH Martin bleed proof white to paint a starburst effect from the center. After that dries, I added metallic gold watercolor around the circle and in the center. The shape of the ornament I drew freehand, but you could make a template from a folded piece of paper or cardboard on half then unfold for a uniform template. Use that to outline in pencil. I hope that is clear and is some help to you. Let me know if it works for you!
@@bswiftart1472 I would have never guessed that was how you painted the inside of your feature Christmas bulb. I am going to try that. Your description was very clear. And if I will post a picture of the results here. Probably not today but soon🌸
I really enjoyed this. Please make more videos in this series!
Thank You so much! I am doing a video every Monday on this!

Do you reset your watercolors every time you paint?
No, just as needed. Sometimes I spritz before I start. Thanks for watching!

This is the first time watching your video. You showed me exactly what I wanted to know. So far all my floral paintings are on a plain white background and need a little background work !! Very nice work!
I am so happy to help you out! That's what I'm here for!
I Love your art!! Please make more videos asap!!🎉
Thank You so much! I try to put a video out every Monday. You can click on the bell to get notified when the new one comes out. :)
You may already know this, but here it is anyway: Olive and other muted "greens" are shades of yellow, not green. Add black to yellow to get these muted hues. Also, I detect a 'twist' to you vase. I do the same thing when I paint or draw flat on a table. To prevent this, take time to turn the painting upside down or use a mirror to check early in the painting.
Thank You for the helpful tips! The fun part is always learning... :)
That is a helpful tip. I tend to “twist” also. Lol!
I love it 😊❤
Thank You! I am glad you like it!
