I would maybe try only heating the top section of your bottle not the part you want to keep

What side is the vinyl laid on

In your video you mentioned letting paint dry for 15 minutes between coats. My application isn’t drying in 15 minutes. Are you doing anything to glass before painting?

This is amazing! I need to make a larger sized scoop (maybe 5” in diameter) any ideas on what to use instead of an ice cream scoop? I love the texture you got...I’m wondering if it had to do with the scoop or the spackle mixture you did?

This is one of the better tutorials I've seen I'm making faux ice cream sundaes, even though you sped it up to conserve time you are very informative. This is exactly the way I make mine.
