Don't worry about the pronunciations, a lot of people get it wrong, especially because it's not 100% consistent between the different names, Aang and Iroh are pronounced like an English speaker would read these names, whereas some other names have a non-English pronunciation. However I should mention that there is a strong reason why fans are very sensitive about the pronunciations of the names, we've been hurt badly by something. On a "completely unrelated" note, you should watch The Last Airbender (2010) movie when you're done with this show, it's not a good one but it will enlighten you about something and afterwards you'll feel similar to how other fans feel about "some things".

Just a fun fact: Bumi's challenges were designed to check how many elements Aang has mastered, the waterfall would've been easy for a waterbender. An Earthbender wouldn't have had to worry about a giant beast running towards them because they can just raise the ground above its reach and seen that the giant beast isn't aggressive but is instead reacting to the name Flopsy and running towards whoever called them. The last challenge was very similar to Agni Kai, the traditional fire duel, like the one Zuko and the commander had.

It's not explained why the water tribes are split in two, but you can assume that it's because they would travel the world during peace times and during war times they want a place that's easy to defend and the poles are a great place for that, so they would move to the closest one. Waterbenders can bend water and ice while there's no earth at the poles for earthbenders to bend, fire would take a while to cut through a block of ice and hiding in a building made of ice would be quite resistant to huffing and puffing from airbenders as well.

Episode 12 As a season finale, it has to have a set up. So, of course, they won't elaborate on the things that are intended for the next seasons. It may be frustratng, but on the other hand, there are many people who are all for theory-building and all that stuff during hiatus. It helps to keep the fandom engaged. Ok, back to the episode itself. First, I think that Octavia's reaction is definitely valid. I personallly came to understand it when I took another look at the way they were communicating, and how it diverged from Stolas' actions. In hindsight, it feels more like a band-aid, that was applied every time Octavia voiced her concerns. Stolas was basically telling her: "We're good", and then going off to chase after Blitz or to get into an argument with Stella. And then one day she sees her father confess his guilt and is willing to literally die for the imp. It's deeply shocking and contrary to what he's always told her. Plus, the pills made her question how genuine their shared happy moments actually were. He had, albeit unintentionally, subjected his child to all this emotional turmoil, and now she needs to recover from that before she's ready to hear him out. And her mother, while doing the absolute bare minimum (as well as some disgusting things Via doesn't know about yet, but which I'm sure will come out later), was at least consistent about it. It's not exactly a rational position, but it doesn't need to be when it comes to relationships. Especially when one person is heavily reliant on the other. All in all, the poor girl has had a very rough time and needs a break from it all. To be clear, Stolas is still a sympathetic character in my eyes. He and Octavia obviously still care about each other. And that's why I'm glad he's finally facing this issue. And hopefully he'll act on it in the next season! As for Millie, given her generally non-conforming attitude, she may see motherhood as a conflicting idea. And we can also add all the external factors, such as hazardous job, unhinged relatives on her husband's side, etc. There are several possible outcomes, but I expect the choice will ultimately remain hers. 25:23 You're not the only one!) Which, in turn, would have broken him completely, making Andy's "concerns" about Stolas' inability to hold his position much more valid, thus ensuring his removal and subsequent transfer of power. Yep, this is the episode where Blitz went full self-sabotage mode! But at least he managed to communicate (to some extent) his feelings to Stolas and got a little pep talk with Verosika at the end. And we got some fun shenanigans along the way. Also, a lot of people in the fandom have started to become polarised in their hatred of Blitzo/Stolas (like, no in-between), but personally, by this point I've become more invested in their individual character development. So it was really disappointing to see, but maybe it was just the point where my own contrarianism kicked in. 👀 8:05 It's easy when it doesn't really mean much. Notice how he included Moxie (with a question mark) in his apology list, but didn't follow through. And how he didn't include his sister at all. 9:25 I think they re-e-eally stretched the definition of "ex" at this event. Fire benders are able control heat, and can thus turn air into super heated plasma, which causes things to burn.

Fire is not a substance, but a reaction. Hence, firebenders can cause spontaneous combustion of the air around them. (I think the creators just realized how much of a handicap it would be to their villains to have to carry torches around everywhere in order to bend.)

To be clear on how tie-in it is to the game-- The game itself is basically just a "fighting" game, like a new-age Street Fighter. The characters have distinct designs and might have a few paragraphs of backstory if you dig into it, but the gameplay in general has little to no story. There are lots of spin-offs that are more story heavy, like books or RPG games, but those focus on different characters than the setting of this story. Most of the game references here amount to "Wow, that character is in the game, I want to see the origin story of their iconic abilities." The story of Arcane is just as novel and fresh to a League fan as it is to a newcomer, don't worry about missing anything!

Aang doesn't know how to control the Avatar state yet. Right now, it only kicks in as a self-preservation/protection reflex or when under extreme emotional stress.

A fun fact it's sorta believed that Monk Giyatso killed those firebenders surrounding him by sucking all the air out of the area suffocating all the fires and everyone there trying to protect others using a move like that was kind of outlawed by the airbenders

The Avatar has the weight of the world on his or her shoulders. It's a difficult life, and no wonder some of them exhibit some trepidation filling that role. Katara has power but no instruction or even demonstrations. So, she's using trial and error cautiously. Sokka is as smart as he is sarcastic. Yeah, it's surprising how good the show is. The animation holds up. And, it gets better and better with each season. I may have said this after your first posting. But, the subject matter is very deep, serious, and mature. There will be times where there is no completely right or wrong course of action.
