Really speaking, the lady should have prepared the AED and the guy should have continued compressions until the AED starts giving instructions. Too much time off the chest.
Ok I’ve watched this several times and I still don’t feel comfortable thinking about the possibility I might have to use this. I still don’t know if I’d do it right and I definitely don’t want to make a bad situation worse.

I am disappointed in this video. The video says to do the Right pad and then the Left pad, but it does not specify whether that is the patient's left side or the side that is on Our left/right.
Thank you ARC for the updated AED video. Fun fact: In the Dark Ages, they had CPR, but instead of AEDs they had JPDs (Jesus-powered devices). See the ancient archival footage here: ua-cam.com/video/5ZnEtZndAHI/v-deo.html
take your figure and try to establish where the ribs come together, just above that you begin cpr. you very well might break or sprain their ribs but the idea is to get them breathing again.
The use of the AED was ok. The compression rate should be between 100 and 120 compression per minute. We also don't (look listen and feel) put our ear (face) right next to their mouth (face) when we are checking for a pulse and breathing anymore. We also haven't given ventilation before compression in over 10 years. I think they need a more updated version.
@@Uniteddreamerud yep no-ventilation chest compressions. This video is perfect (if you can follow Mr Jones patois...): ua-cam.com/video/tD2qTmDsiHk/v-deo.html

Im glad that these videos are available. There are many of these around my armory but i dont know anyone that can use them.
We had to use an AED tonight on a customer at work. I hope he makes it. He is only 23 years old.
The last is infant.. Why you use aed??

what's CPR?
Hi human anatomy class
They should not stop chest compressions while prepping the AED and applying the pads. Continue compressions until the machine prompts you to stop.
this video is old. mouth to mouth is no longer deemed necessary to the CPR cycle. It's called "Hands-Only CPR."

I’m here because my close friend/crush has Long QT and I want to know how to help her if something bad happens.
Aed I call it a heart zapper
How do you know your hand placement is correct when doing cpr and not breaking something internally

They’re already dying, put your hands between the nipple line and compress 30:2 Break ribs/sternum if you have to… they’re dying anyways
Upper left - lower right. AED pads
PLEASE CAN WE NOT HAVE DOUBLE PREROLL ADS ON THESE VIDEOS UA-cam?

Leave the AED attached if patient is recovering.

What if it's a female do you have to remove her bra? Because I don't want to get #metoo
Exactly. I don’t want to go to jail or get beat up by random bystanders for cutting off a woman’s bra.
@@burgerman101 Rip it off and get on with the job - just don't play with her nipples - just do the CPR
