were did u get concorde?

My uncle was Concorde Captain flying in the 1980s. I saw him years ago before he died. He said "Now I watch them flying up there in the sky and it all seems like a dream." Anyway, I've downloaded it and it's ready for me to hit the Start a new flight button. I feel a bit nervous! Will be so great to see what he did.

Awesome video tutorial. I just got this plane a couple of days and it’s kicking my butt.

Excellent job. My father was a Captain on this and I was lucky enough to do this trip for real... from the flight deck :-) My (far too cleveer!) teenage son flies this, and thinks the issue is where the aircraft switches from a subsonic to supersonic flight model, where pitching for the climb drops you back to the edge of the subsonic model then it pitches back down. He's found he gets a smoother climb accelerating to M1.1 before entering the climb.

Great Flight! I did mine Concorde AF002 flight today from LFPG to KJFK in the Colimata V3. In the past i ve got many problems especially in the acceleration phase. I have solve it to use manual vertical speed to climb up to 60000ft. It seems also unrealistic that the Colimata climb very fast to 60000ft almost at the beginning. I measured the correct flight phase times with the FSLabs Concorde to try to match it in XP12 with the Colimata to make it from the flying point realistic as possible. But the Colimata need a little bit more love in the future. I know that Colimata want to make an free update to V3.5 in the near future. Hope it solves a lot of problems.

Btw you mold have flown an arrival into jfk… unless it specifies that it is rnav1 you can just fly the vors…

There is no need to DME Update the INS correct i always screwed up my entire flight because of that. (Phillp's CIVA Payware INS required you to do that)

I'm late to the concorde party but you have explained everything perfectly my man thanks. Great information about the INS too. I did not realise the onboard INS would suffice for version 2. I got the Philips INS and it destroyed my concorde and xplane 11. Major frame drops all over. Was lost till I found your video. 👍

That looks like freeware level, from X Plane 10.... what's the deal with X hangar, just no effort put into making things nice at all... yet still ask for $$$

some how, im having issues with the better pushback, im trying to pushback my a350 but it doesn't push me back, i alr released parking brakes and everything even the chocks

X-Hangar makes good flying aircraft models for X-Plane that are both cost (easy on your wallet) and gpu efficient. Although there are not a lot of the 'bells & whistles' included that you might have come to expect if you generally buy other publishers more expensive offerings, each will generally have a procedures checklist text file in their documents folder. Both the X-Hangar DHC-4 Caribou and new DHC-5 Buffalo have checklist text files that have the normal flight operations procedures (but not emergency procedures).

Can't get authrottle, autopilot, or flight directors to work. Followed this vid step by step and been through the manual about a dozen times now and cant find the issue. The autothrottle light just blinks, but the autopilot light does stay solid when i flip it on, just doesn't actually have any control inputs

I don’t recall which video it was that was a cacophony of sound, but THIS is a great tutorial! I much prefer being able to use the Phillips CIVA but we can’t have everything, right? Have you done a video tutorial about position reports and what is needed? Actually, it may be in this one and I’ve not come across it get. Hi! Im new to x plane 12 and every time I’m about to take off with the a330 a warning comes on telling me that ”slats not in T.O config” despite having flaps and slats extended. And for some reason I can’t pull the stick back enough to actually take off. Would you know how to fix this?

I would lice a tutorial video where VATSIM is not part of the mix. I have never understood why some content creators create "tutorial: videos when (1) on VATSIM and even worse (2) catering to a streaming audience. Maybe choose to stream or produce a tutorial video - not both. Anyway... I hope you're able to produce a nice tutorial video as I cannot really learn by slogging through mountains of text.

Not sure if you'll see this, but how did you calculate your Top of Descent? Standard formula of Cruise - Destination Alt / 1.000 X 3 or is there someplace in this aircraft that'll tell you? That's really all that's holding me back on this plane. Thank you so much!

TA TCAS set to TA only (interferes with ground traffic if set to ta/ra) DO write down read back for take off clearance , (and deffo get the SID right ) ...there's a long list But really had fun playing Instuctor

You make the departures look so easy... I have major issues with the aircraft wanting to dive at the ground at anything basically bellow 280-300 knots, trim is set for flight and everything. It will not hold 250 knots for me, I do not understand why. I don't know if there is some auto-trim I need to turn off or maybe some hardware setting I need to change with the honeycomb or what. I have to hold the yoke hard back, like full on near pulling the thing off the desk to maintain a simple 2000fpm or something. Although I've not had that cruise issue to that level you had, wow... I've had it bob up and down but not to that extent.
