Thank you for the info just took my test and I guess it's different in every state because there was NO xray portion on the test ... there was a 2d-3d that was 20 minutes long and it was pretty confusing no math what's so ever it's was only 3 portions the first 2 were super easy but the last (2d and 3d) got me waiting on the results 🤞🏼

How much do you make as an TSA agent in the US? I work in aviation security in Germany and would like to compare.

Good to know they teach the same nonsense in America as in Germany. Actually the colours don't say anything about organic or inorganic. They only tell about density. Inorganic materials tend to be more dense than organic ones, but that's not always the case. For example water is inorganic but displayed orange. Some soles of shoes, mostly flip-flops have a really dense rubber sole and it's displayed green to blue, even rubber is an organic material. To be fair aviation security isn't meant to be a chemistry class, and they use those terms to simplify it. But scientifically speaking, it's absolute BS what they teach you about organic and inorganic materials.

I'm taking my test this Friday. I know the CBT test in general isn't very hard, but I read most people who don't pass, it's due to the xray and inability to comprehend the questions being asked.

My takeaway from this is color density, especially in the vague orange color can be a cause for a check. Look for connected devices. etc

They may have updated the test. I took a different test that had 3 portions. Matching shapes, letters/numbers. I was not prepared at all.

dear friend, I'm getting certified for ENAC, and I've just started X-rays for a week, I still have a lot of difficulty recognizing the I.E.D. and especially when turning over the baggage for a second screening. I will have the exam in a month and I would like to get there managing to understand an effective methodology. what can you advise me?
