Nice footage! I'm a little confused by the aspect ratio though. Some people have uploaded videos using your same set up and the aspect ratio is like 2.35:1. Yours (and a few others) seem to be closer to 2.5:1. How does that work?

Hi great video i have a very big question i just bought bmpcc4k and i want a 24mm sirui lens i want to shoot cinematic videos and basketball video should i get 24mm sirui or 35mm please help
Thank you! It depends on what your shooting, crop factor plays a roll, I got the 35mm because I found a good deal and it made sense for what I was shooting. With the Mft your crop will be like double so a 35mm will appear more like a 70mm, however since it’s anamorphic you do also get a wider FOV. A 24mm will end up looking like a 50mm. So both will be relatively zoomed in, either option though looks great I love the effect it has on the image! Hope this helped! :)

It depends which mount for it you buy, but the lens I had and the mount on my camera was the same (MF3) so it worked for me, what mount is on your camera?
Does it need to be in three even parts because mine is still choppy in some places. I have an hour long video.

Hey Ryan, I hope you're doing well. First of all, you recorded really beautiful footage :). Also, the color grading is really really nice. Well done! I was searching videos like this to decide if I should go with this one or the newer models. Does it crop when you shoot in 2.6k or HD in 120fps? Thanks and cheers from Argentina :D
Hi Julian! Yes there is a crop in 2.6k and in 1080p, for me personally I haven't run into any situations when shooting videos where the crop has affected me too much. I think in 1080p it is the same as a 2x crop so whenever I can I just shoot in 4k. I only really shoot in lower resolutions when I use faster frame rates like 120fps, but even then I usually forget about the crop and just focus on the story. As for the newer models have heard great things about them but for me the 4K did everything I needed it to do and it's been amazing!🙂

This helped a lot, I’ve just been putting the 60fps clip straight into the 24fps timeline and didn’t understand why it kept looking so choppy. I’m definitely going to do a composite shot from now on. Great job!
