Saw this movie late one Saturday night when I was 11 or 12. This scene just made me laugh so hard I never forgot it. Was too young to really understand what was really going on in the film, but Mattau’s scenes as the fast-talking lawyer/hustler always stuck with me. Thanks for posting.

This performance is one of the top ten ever on film. Did people viewing the rushes comment on Walker-they were watching a bravura performance. A human disguised as a snake.

The casting of Edward Mulvane in the television remake was spot on (although they did tone down the cantankerous nature of the Harrison portrayal a tad too much.)
