81 wears red and white- so BLS cuts aren't "Hells Angels Colors". BLS isn't open about any affiliation with any MC, especially 1% MCs. The BLS cut is generally fine to wear around town and is definitely cool to wear at a BLS show, but I've seen people get kicked out of 1% MC events for wearing one- similar to wearing a Sons of Anarchy cut or any other kind of unofficial cut. It's pretty unlikely that it would cause any serious problems though. I have an SDMF tattoo on my leg and have worn it around many different 1% clubs and nobody has ever said a thing. I asked a club president about it once and he said that if you're going to a club event and you wanna rock BLS gear you should just wear a T shirt or something though, just to be safe- keep the vest away from MC events.
