Uniform outer vest carrier from Safe Life Defense

My take on the Safe Life Defense uniform shirt carrier and how I set it up to meet my needs. (Subject to change)
Does the oem glock 19x magazine fit in the gen 5 glock 19?
yes
I just got a WTF turnkey Rig 04 but cannot figure out how to set it up? Can you help me out with any tutorials or resources? Thanks in advance!
@@gabe_valencia what seems to be the problem? Do you have the original harness that is included with it or did you opt for one of the other harnesses?
Thanks for the reply. I only have the 004 harness and a waist strap.
It sounds ridiculous but I can’t figure out how to set up the harness so I can wear it
@@gabe_valencia I may have to do a separate instructional video for the harness. Stay tuned brother!

Questions why black? Second why a vest? Try getting down in prone with a hand gun or rifle! Secondly having more pockets invites more shit that you don't need! Handgun, spare magazines handcuffs pepper spray, radio(most important) lastly a brain with knowledge of the law! You ain't in the Army! Your sorry ass wouldn't survive it!😮
Will a G19X 19 round mag fit in a Gen 3 Glock 17 and look flush?
Yessir
With mine I added my own velcro to the back for my identifier
Very nice 💯
Diameter for the 32 oz Nalgene is 3.5", while the 16 oz Nalgene is 2.75". The 16 oz would still be snug, but a much better option.
I have the same pistol configuration as you do expect I'm using the TLR- 7A. I tried to type in and find that Sarfariland holster your using for your pistol with no luck. Any way to contact you or send me the proper link to this holster or something so that I can get my pistol setup?
Sorry for the late reply... the holster finder on the Safariland website is trash. My suggestion for a Safariland style holster alternative is US DUTY GEAR Holsters. They will have options that should fit your configuration.
I want to swap 19x +2 mag to black baseplate & g19 15rd with the fde +2 baseplate from 19x mag. Will buy g17 spring for the 15rd
No need to buy 17 rd spring just gonna hv hella tension n won’t even be able to get 17 rd in you can use factory spring it to be fine
@@m1ketv420not true brother…. He definitely needs to use the Glock 17 spring with that conversation. If he don’t the follower spring tension will be “squishy “ for a lack of a better word and “may” cause the slide not to lock back after the last round…. To ensure reliability of that conversions, yes.. he definitely should use the 11 coil springs and yes .. it will fit 17👍
@@KN0CTURNAL-u1r Very true. Have done it myself.
Amazing and helpful video for someone who is trying to figure out how and what to put on the same SafeLife vest ! Thank you 🙏
Glad it was helpful!
thanks for the the velcro on the knife sheath idea 🙏🏽, I have been trying to figure out different configurations for mine
Cool vid thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Do you remove the comp every-time you clean the gun?
You can, and i would recommend you do, because this comp doesn't require any loctite or rocksett to attach. The comp screws on, then when you tighten the 2 set screws, they push the clamps onto the barrel thread to ensure they don't ruin the threading. You can put loctite on the set screws but if you clean your gun every trip after the range, then it makes more sense to not use loctite on the set screws. Because of this attaching method, it makes the comp extremely easy to do maintenance, so taking it on and off frequently is not an issue. You can simply torque the set screws to 20-30 lbs, as recommended by SS, and you'll be gtg.
Arredondo + 5 baseplates work well.
I was between this comp and the agency arms 417 comp. I really wanted the ramjet from radiant but i dont feel like getting another barrel. Ima just stick with the shadow comp.
I’ve got DR-920P and I think I like that comp a lot more than the thread on comp.
i carry mine a a t1 concealed holster and it worked great. mr920 with ss comp. Great Setup defiantly an easy shooter. ss warranty is amazing.
can u buy a 17 +2 mag in black and fit that into the 19x ??
I've looked high and low and for some reason Glock doesn't sell Glock 17 mags with a +2 extension and the appropriate 11 coil spring (wich is basically a glock 19X magazine) straight from the factory in black. You have to build your own and in this video is to give you the information for that.
@@limasierraone7107they do actually two sites have them look up Glock 19 round mag there’s a site but u have to buy 3 of them to order em there 30 a piece
@@limasierraone7107i have a g45 i eneded up just buying 2 glock 19rd mags and Got 1 painted from a store near me for cheap
The black 17+2 only for sale in EU
You can use factory spring it works just fine
Go with the Tier1conealed holster. add the $5 dollar modification option and in the notes tell them to leave the muzzle end of the holster open for a comp... fits perfectly.
I was going to do Tier1 but I need to contact them and see if there OWB holster can be installed with the Safariland QLS Fork instead. Only really wanting the the Safariland holster because it covers up my optic.
Hey Great Review Thinking about pairing this with Maybe a white/black tshirt or hoodie On Cold days I Do Plain Clothes Bodyguard Protection Do you think The black would go Good with Basic outfits?
It depends on how much concealment matters to you
This thing is still out of stock lol how hard can it be to manufacture these things… I’m bummed really want one for my 920
Patience is a virtue
What size did you get and what size are you . Safelife size charts are incorrect
I am all wtf. I have 3 rigs from them one incomplete as it is a older model not on thier website. I rock one in MC and the other two in BMC which is my preferred pattern atm. But id really like to have flektarn or perhaps a black multi cam flektarn

So has anyone found the ebay post?
Boatach has the black extension set
What holster are you using with the comp
Its a Safariland 6000 series holster for the Glock 34 with TLR 1 HL.
New drinking game. One shot with every “you know”
Just got an accessory panel from them. Good stuff. 100% will be getting more from them as time goes
Lol buys a 1000$ gun and cant afford to shoot it or maintain it
Guilty as charged LOL
That used to be me when I first started getting into guns. I now do have the ammo and money just not the time LOL
Did it reduce recoil a lot? Can you tell the difference. I have to but the threaded barrel also, so it will run me about a little over $300.. my real question is it worth getting it? Thank you
I mentioned in my video that it reduces the the felt recoil.
@@limasierraone7107 yes you did but my question Is does it reduced enough to spent $350? Or yeah it reduced recoil but does not justify . Thank you. Your comment will help make my decision..
@@jack-ui3obIf I were you I would focus on training and controlling recoil with the stock barrel. Assuming you will or have already done that then ask yourself what am I using the firearm for. (Example) concealed carry, duty roll, outside the waist carry, range toy or even competition. These are questions you have to answer for yourself. Don't let someone like me dictate your decision. For me it is worth the money but I already had the threaded barrel because it was included when I purchased the firearm. The Compensator was pretty affordable compared to the price of the gun so it was a natural progression for me. I really like the performance of the Compensator. It's something that is nice but not necessary. Hope that helps.
A better way of thinking of it is, do you think $350 is worth an advantage for your life in a real life situation... Answer is almost always yes. Mine didn't come with the threaded barrel so I bought it and the SS comp... Yes, get it....
17:03 It kinda does. The Velcro keeps the windless from popping out during transport.
I get exactly what you are talking about. The Velcro does close it off completely and adds another level of security during transport. Keep in mind there are other TQs on the market that are from reputable companies that have the windlass with an open hook that secures it. That is one of the driving reasons for why I removed it. And it solved the issue of the exposed hook catching on things. It's a compromise and something I debated on for a while before I did it. It comes down to the individual and their needs.
LBE rigs still rock.
Yes they do!
ever plan on shooting that thing so we can see it in action?
that comp is so good looking on that pew ill be snagging one soon and replacing my zev comp
What mag is that
OEM Glock 19 magazine with OEM Glock +2 baseplate and OEM Glock 17 spring and follower. I have a video that I mentioned it in called Glock 19 X magazines in other colors.
@@limasierraone7107 thank you so much looks awesome
I put the SS comp on my DR920 Elite and the hotter loads force the comp to work harder. The more gas you can force through the comp the more downforce it'll create. Belive it or not +p ammo will shoot flatter than 147's when using the comp.
I don't have a torque driver so I'm going to guess. I guess
Mine works great I run it in a t1c appendix rig. I will say it looks like my comp is a lot closer to the slide than yours. You didn’t leave the oring on the barrel did you?
I didn't have that option. My gun didn't come with one. I think someone behind the gun counter lost it LOL. I didn't know any better until after I had the gun for a while.
I thought the same thing until I put a holosun 407c on it a week ago and when I took the bag with the spacers off of the box it came in my o-ring was on the back of that bag with the screws and spacers in it.
@@limasierraone7107 the o-ring is taped inside the red dot mounting accessories baggie on the inside. I almost missed mine because it’s hard to notice.
got mine this week. v dope. great hardware design by the shadow bois
Very nice!
Mine should be arriving today. Got a lighter spring too just in case
Shouldn't need a spring change. I've been running this comp for probably 1000 rounds. Because it's a smaller port it runs on everything I've put through my DR920. But let us know if you change springs.
@@thefrogking481 didn't need to change it. Know anybody that needs a spring?
So what are the torque specks?
I think it’s like 20-30 inch pounds. The correct spec will be provided on paperwork that comes with comp.
This is correct ^ I did 25
I had no issues out of mine either.
just ordered mine, how does it run? notice any difference in muzzle rise?
It definitely feels like it stays on target better
