It’s hard to watch some kid telling me what type of Rolex to buy. Having worn a Rolex for 57 yrs. My first Rolex was the GMT. At 73 yrs. Old. When I get onto my bicycle. I don’t scratch my belly and can’t figure out should I wear my GMT, my sub or my 36mm palm motif dial with the fluted bezel.

My watch was purchased 2 years ago from AMZWATCH and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.

I think team smooth on the 41, fluted on the 36. Green dial is great, but I also think the silver dial is under rated. In photos, the silver is OK, but it really looks great in person. It's be a tough choice between the silver and the mint green.

I'm really drawn to the Twelve in Arctic White. I'm telling myself that if I get one of a few jobs I'm currently looking at, I'll get it for myself as a reward. Fingers crossed I get to decide if I'm really going to do that sometime soon.

Just buy DJ41 jubilee bracelet & fluted bezel then buy a smooth bezel and maybe a oyster bracelet and you can swap'em out. it's easy to do. You'll have 2 watches. 👌

Team smooth bezel always always always. I always see UA-cam comments saying "a Datejust has to have a fluted bezel" or "only fluted looks right" but thats such a bunch of nonsense by people clutching onto the 20th century history and evolution of the model line. Just get the one you like. Fluted bezel doesn't suit my personality or daily life AT ALL. I'd almost feel embarrassed wearing it. My smooth bezel DJ simply disappeared onto my wrist when I had it.

For me, The DJ is always a fluted bezel on jubilee. If not, just save yourself $4k and get the OP which looks effectively the same without a date.

It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. amzwatch watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?

got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
